The greatest political exaggeration of our time is the portrayal of those with brute force as those with true power. Wherever a brute has taken the throne, one can find the influence of wealth and deceit. Wealthy elites support the brute, while deceivers legitimize his actions. While some may gain brute force through warfare, their reign endures only with the backing of wealth and deceit.
🔹 Today, global economic cartels stand beside the wielders of brute force. But now, deceivers are not limited to corrupt religious figures; much of this role is assumed by media, which distort realities to glorify those with brute force. In other words, media has become the executive arm of brute force and deceit.
🔴 Exaggeration in religion was calling someone without the merit to lead the Muslims as “Commander of the Faithful.” Exaggeration in politics is portraying a brute as a true leader and striving to boost his popularity. Political exaggeration is not politics; it’s deception.
🔸 Yesterday, religious exaggeration was widespread, today it is political, and in the future, this political exaggeration may fade, giving way to exaggeration in other areas, such as mysticism, becoming society’s dominant misrepresentation. Every era has its own form of exaggeration.
