🔺 Professor Roch Boulvin, a Belgian Christian surgeon, underwent a profound transformation influenced by Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Hadi Milani, ultimately embracing Islam.

According to Rahyafte (the comprehensive platform for missionaries and new Muslims), Professor Roch Boulvin, a Christian researcher and surgeon from Belgium, was invited to Mashhad by the Razavi Holy Shrine in 1954 to organize Imam Reza (AS) Hospital and share his expertise. From 1954 to 1969, he served as the head of the surgical department at Imam Reza (AS) Hospital in Mashhad, pioneering innovative surgical techniques in Khorasan.

Fotros Media Telegram channel introduces Roch Boulvin, stating: "Boulvin, in the vicinity of the heavenly court of the Eighth Imam (AS), was repeatedly influenced by the atmosphere of the shrine and the miracles of the Imam (AS) in healing the patients."

Following a surgery performed on Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Hadi Milani, one of the Shiite authorities, Boulvin decided to convert to Islam upon realizing that the supplication recited upon awakening was the Abu Hamzah Thumali prayer. He expressed, "When a person awakens, they reveal their true essence. Seeing that his entire being was immersed in God, I compared it to the post-surgery awakening of a Pope humming a song. At that moment, I understood that Islam is the ultimate truth."

In the later years of his life, Roch Boulvin embraced Islam in the presence of Ayatollah Faqih Sabzevari. He bid farewell to the mortal world on August 4, 1969, and was laid to rest on the eastern side of Khajeh Rabi's Tomb in Mashhad.
