🌼 The Tale of Fotros, the Angel

🔹️In the book "Amali" by Sheikh Saduq, a narration from Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) is quoted: Fotros, one of the angels bearing the throne, became sluggish in performing his duty, his wings broken, and he was exiled to an island on Earth. He devoted 700 years to worshipping God until the birth of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

🌼Jibril, along with seventy thousand angels, descended to Earth to congratulate this birth. When they passed by Fotros, he inquired about the reason for their descent and requested them to take him along. Jibril mediated with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on his behalf. Following the Prophet's suggestion, Fotros anointed himself with the sweat of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), and God healed his wings, restoring him to his original position.

🌼After recovery and ascension to the heavens, Fotros informed the Messenger of God about the martyrdom of his son Hussain, expressing that in return for this intercession, every visitor's pilgrimage, greeting, and prayers would reach Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
