Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

A faithful servant, though poor, prays: "O Lord, grant me wealth as sustenance, so I may engage in acts of goodness and charity." And when God truly discerns their intention, He inscribes for them the same reward as if they had carried out those deeds. Indeed, God is vast in His generosity and noble in His bestowals.
