💠 Ayatollah Mohammad-Taqi Bahjat (r):

▫ Sayyid Jamal al-Din Golpayegani (r) once told his son:
🔸 “If you do not perform the night prayer (Salat al-Layl), I will disown you!”

▫ His son, deeply upset, asked:
🔸 “Why would you disown me for neglecting a recommended (not obligatory) act?”

▫ He replied:
🔸 “I mean that you should avoid abandoning the night prayer as much as you can.”
🔸 In fact, by warning his son so seriously, he was securing his son’s future — for every other form of inheritance, whether wealth, land, or livestock, is bound to perish.
