Rahyafte (The Guided Ones)
🔹 Qur’an 4:47 — A Walāyah and Mahdawī Perspective 🌙 The Noble Verse “O you who were given the Book! Believe in what We have sent down, confirming what is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them backwards, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath…
🔹 Qur’an 4:48 — A Walāyah and Mahdawī Reflection
🌙 The Noble Verse
“Surely Allah does not forgive that partners should be set up with Him, but He forgives whatever is besides that for whomsoever He pleases; and whoever sets up partners with Allah has indeed devised a great sin.”
(Qur’an 4:48)
✍️ Walāyah-Based Narrations
1️⃣ Imam ʿAlī (ʿa) 💬
“The Messenger of Allah (ṣ) said: Whoever sincerely says Lā ilāha illā Allāh is free from shirk; whoever dies without shirk enters Paradise... and whoever is of your followers, Allah will forgive him.”
📚 Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, vol. 3, p. 210
2️⃣ Imam ʿAlī (ʿa) 💬
“There is no verse in the Qur’an dearer to me than this one.”
📚 al-Tawḥīd, p. 409
3️⃣ Imam al-Bāqir (ʿa) 💬
“Shirk in the Walāyah of ʿAlī (ʿa) is unforgivable; any other sin can be forgiven if one accepts his Walāyah.”
📚 Biḥār al-Anwār, vol. 36, p. 136
4️⃣ Imam al-Bāqir (ʿa) 💬
“When you are called to the Walāyah of ʿAlī (ʿa), you disbelieve; but if another is set up as a partner, you believe!”
📚 Biḥār al-Anwār, vol. 23, p. 363
5️⃣ Imam al-Ṣādiq (ʿa) 💬
“Whoever denies the Walāyah of ʿAlī (ʿa) is like an idol-worshipper.”
📚 Biḥār al-Anwār, vol. 24, p. 123
6️⃣ Ibn ʿAbbās (ra) 💬
“This is among the greatest verses and more precious to the Ummah than all the treasures of the heavens.”
📚 Baḥr al-ʿIrfān, vol. 4, p. 243
🌟 Walāyah Insight
🔹 Pure monotheism hinges on acceptance of the Walāyah of ʿAlī (ʿa); shirk in lordship and shirk in Walāyah are both unforgivable.
🔹 This verse proves that true Walāyah is an extension of pure Tawḥīd.
🔹 In the logic of the Ahl al-Bayt (ʿa), denying the Walāyah of the Commander of the Faithful is akin to forging a partner with Allah.
✨ Mahdawī Insight
🔸 The flow of Walāyah continues through the lineage of ʿAlī (ʿa) until the Qā’im (ʿaj).
🔸 Whoever rejects the Walāyah of the Mahdī (ʿaj) is, in truth, violating pure Tawḥīd.
🔸 In the era of reappearance, this line of pure devotion becomes manifest; the sincere ones declare: Lā ilāha illā Allāh, Muḥammad Rasūl Allāh, ʿAlī Walī Allāh.
🔸 The army of the Qā’im (ʿaj) will be the faithful ones who cleanse the earth of shirk and hypocrisy under the banner of Walāyah.
✅ Walāyah and Mahdawī Conclusion
✔️ The only path to freedom from shirk is sincere devotion in Tawḥīd and Walāyah.
✔️ Followers of Walāyah will find divine safety on the Day of Judgment; sins other than shirk (and denial of Walāyah) will be forgiven for them.
✔️ The gravest betrayal of Tawḥīd is to reject Walāyah and create false claimants to divine authority.
