🔹 The futurist perspective, which has gained significant popularity among fundamentalist Christians and Evangelical Christianity in the U.S. and U.K., interprets the Book of Revelation as a precise depiction of the final days of history, especially the last seven years.

🔸 They believe a great tribulation will occur before the Second Coming of Jesus—a relatively short period during which humanity will experience calamities, plagues, famine, war, and death. More than two-thirds of humanity is predicted to perish before Christ's return.

🔹 Many biblical prophecies, according to this view, are yet to be fulfilled. Followers emphasize a literal interpretation of the Bible.

🔸 The metaphors and symbols in Revelation—such as the Four Horsemen, beasts, trumpets, and bowls of wrath—are seen as real-world events that will transpire before the apocalypse.

✅ Fundamental Beliefs and Christian Zionism

🔹 Christian fundamentalists, synonymous with Christian Zionists, argue for a literal understanding of the Bible and await the Second Coming of Christ, along with all its associated signs, including mass killings and the Battle of Armageddon.

🔸 They see the Second Coming of Christ as contingent upon certain preparatory events linked to Old Testament prophecies. Thus, they consider it their religious duty to expedite these events to hasten Christ’s return.

🔹 Christian Zionists believe global events unfold according to biblical prophecies, viewing the 1948 establishment of Israel and the occupation of Palestine as apocalyptic signs fulfilling Old Testament predictions and confirming the visions of Revelation.

🔸 They claim that none of today’s events can be understood outside the framework of Israel’s restoration, Jerusalem, and the reconstruction of Solomon’s Temple. Their focus culminates in the “Battle of Armageddon.”

✅ Key Doctrines Leading to the Return of Christ: From Israel's Formation to Armageddon

1️⃣ The Jews are God’s chosen people.
2️⃣ The Jews must return to Israel as their presence prepares for Christ’s return.
3️⃣ Israel exclusively belongs to the Jews, necessitating its capture and settlement.
4️⃣ Jerusalem is the eternal and exclusive capital of the Jews and cannot be shared with Palestinians.

When Jerusalem was annexed in 1967, Christian Zionists declared it a divine sign. Professor Abraham Ikoru Chima, founder of the Christian-Zionist sect “Makaya,” stated: “The annexation of Jerusalem is a divine indication—it is surely the Word of God.”
5️⃣ Solomon’s Temple must be reconstructed on its ancient site, currently occupied by the Dome of the Rock.
6️⃣ The final apocalyptic Battle of Armageddon will pit forces of good, led by Christ, against evil, led by the Antichrist, resulting in Christ’s victory.

🔸 According to this view, two stages remain before Christ’s reappearance:
1️⃣ The destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque and unveiling of Solomon’s Temple.
2️⃣ The beginning of Armageddon between Jews and their enemies.

🔹 Tragically, this ideology is committed to advancing these goals. Support for Israel has become a cornerstone of U.S. political doctrine.
