Ayatollah Bahaoddini (may he rest in peace) used to say: "Reciting blessings for the deceased has great benefits. Sometimes, I send Salawat (blessings) for the deceased and have witnessed remarkable effects. Once, I dreamt of a person suffering various torments. I offered some Salawat for them and, upon dreaming of them again, found that, thanks to the Salawat, they had been saved. Alhamdulillah."

One person shared: "My mother passed away a few years ago. One night, I dreamt of her, and she said, 'My son! Nothing brings peace to my soul like the Salawat. The best gift you can give me is the recitation of Salawat.'"
