▪️ When Imam Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.) felt the blow of Ibn Muljam on the Night of Qadr in the month of Ramadan, he did not cry out in pain. Instead, he patiently counted the moments, fell to his face, and said: "In the name of Allah, and by the religion of the Messenger of Allah, by the Lord of the Ka'bah, I have succeeded. Ibn Muljam, the Jew, killed me."

▪️ The killer of Imam Ali, Ibn Muljam, was also an illegitimate child, and his father's identity was unknown: "The killer of Ali (peace be upon him) is the son of a prostitute, and the woman said: 'We do not know who his father is or his lineage.'" / Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 27, p. 240.

▪️ Ibn Muljam was raised under the guardianship of a Jewish woman. One day, Imam Ali (a.s.) inquired about his lineage. Ibn Muljam tried to avoid answering, but the Imam said: "The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) told me that the one who will kill me is a Jew."
