The Betrayal of Islam by Saudi Wahhabi Teachings
The version of Islam promoted by Saudi Arabia under Wahhabi influence has become a distortion of the true teachings of Islam, marked by betrayal of the Muslim Ummah and cooperation with oppressors. This ideology has strayed far from the principles established by the Quran and the Sunnah.
🔹 Collaboration with Oppressors
The Quran clearly condemns aiding oppressors:
🔹 “And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah.” (Surah Hud: 113)
Yet, the Saudi regime stands complicit in the oppression and killing of Muslims in countries such as Yemen and Palestine, aligning itself with tyrannical powers.
🔹 Neglecting the Dignity of Muslims
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) emphasized the sacredness of a believer’s life:
💠 “The destruction of the entire world is less significant in the sight of Allah than the unjust killing of a single believer.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 2619)
Despite this, Saudi policies often prioritize alliances with oppressors over the lives of innocent Muslims.
🔹 Promotion of Immorality
By hosting events that blur the lines of modesty and Islamic values, such as fashion shows with blatant disregard for sacred symbols, they contribute to the erosion of morality in Muslim societies.
🔸 “Indeed, those who like that immorality should be spread among the believers will have a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter.” (Surah An-Nur: 19)
🔹 Turning Away from Authentic Teachings
The original teachings of Islam emphasize justice, unity, and adherence to the truth. However, the Saudi regime has replaced these values with divisive, self-serving ideologies. Imam Ali (AS) warned:
💠 “When falsehood becomes widespread, a believer must speak the truth, even if it is bitter.” (Nahj al-Balagha, Saying 373)

Muslims must remain vigilant against these distortions and hold fast to the true essence of Islam, which prioritizes justice, compassion, and unity over political gains and alliances with oppressors.
