Zuckerberg: The Biden Administration Forced Me to Censor
🔹 "In 2021, senior officials from the Biden administration pressured our teams to censor COVID-related content." This statement is part of a letter sent yesterday by Zuckerberg, Meta's owner, to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee.
🔹 Zuckerberg admitted that he made decisions under this pressure that he now regrets and would not repeat: "I believe these pressures were wrong, and I regret not speaking out more about them."
🔹 The Meta founder highlighted the external pressure to censor content on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Meanwhile, earlier reports indicated that Twitter also faced pressure to censor anti-Ukraine content.
🔹 According to these reports, documents revealed that the CIA, Pentagon, and other U.S. intelligence agencies pressured Twitter to censor and remove anti-Ukraine narratives that contradicted U.S. foreign policy.
