🔴 Christian Zionists & Wilson’s Fourteen Points: The Path to Israel

Long before Herzl’s “The Jewish State” (1896) or the First Zionist Congress (1897), Christian Zionists in the U.S. and Britain were already demanding a Jewish homeland in Palestine. In fact, they pressed harder than Jews themselves.
After WWI, President Woodrow Wilson (1913–1921) issued his famous Fourteen Points in January 1918—dictating terms for global order right as the Ottoman Empire collapsed. Though presented as “peace principles,” they were in reality tools of imperial interference, just like Sykes-Picot and Balfour.
📌 Two points were decisive in paving the way for Israel:
Point 5: About colonial territories and mandates, fueling disputes in Palestine between the British, Palestinians, and Jewish settlers.
Point 14: Calling for a League of Nations, which after WWII evolved into the UN—formally recognizing the creation of the Zionist state.
Psychologists often say, “It all goes back to childhood.” In the same way, Israel’s roots—and even its present aggressive traits—can be traced to its “parent,” America, and its early birth under Christian Zionist pressure.
Many international law scholars argue: without Wilson’s Fourteen Points, the establishment of Israel in Palestine would have been nearly impossible under pre-war legal frameworks.
