Joanna Francis American journalist ... an inspirational individual who has been inspiring women across the globe and across religions. @rahyafte_en
💢An interview with Joanna Francis American journalist:

Q1. Tell me a little bit about yourself and your background.

✨I am a #Catholic #American #woman who was raised mainly by a single #mother with three older brothers. I attended Catholic schools but graduated from a state university.

Q2. How did you come to be so involved with Muslim causes?

✨I became interested in Muslims issues after September 11, 2001, as did many Americans, because I wanted to find out why they hated Americans so much that they would kill us in such a horrible and cruel manner. What I discovered, among many other things, was that #Muslims had a legitimate grievance against my country because of our bias support of Israel against the #Palestinians. I never understood the real issue surrounding the Israeli/Palestinian issue, since our #media is controlled by Zionists. I realized that we #Americans were being manipulated into hating Muslims so that we would fight Israelis enemies in the Middle East. By the way, in my #research into the events surrounding 9/11, I have concluded that 9/11 was an inside job, perpetrated by people loyal to Israel inside our #government ; most likely aided by Israeli Mossad agents. Americans are as much victims of the #Zionists as the Palestinians are; only the Palestinians know very clearly who their enemies are, while most Americans have been fooled into believing the Muslims are our enemies.

⭕️ #Danielle_LoDuca is a third generation #American #artist and #author. Drawing inspiration from personal life experiences, her writings highlight the familiarity of Islam in a climate that increasingly portrays the Islamic faith as strange.
⭕️ She holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and has pursued postgraduate studies in Arabic and Islamic Studies at the Foundation for Knowledge and Development.
⭕️ LoDuca’s work has been featured in media publications in the US and abroad and she is currently working on a book that offers a thought-provoking American Muslim perspective, #in_contrast to the #negative_narratives regarding Islam and Muslims prevalent in the #media today.

💥 Stars vs. Celebrities 👈 A Fundamental Shift!

1️⃣ In the past, being a #Star meant maintaining one's status through intense competition, aging, and personal life challenges. Today, however, #Celebrities—unlike stars—readily display their private lives on social media. They not only reveal past secrets but are also pressured to react to every issue—even unrelated ones—just to maintain their popularity!

2️⃣ In this new system, artistic prestige has become a tool to justify contradictory behaviors. The use of #Sexual_Appeal, #Emotional_Statements, and #Creating_Controversy are strategies celebrities choose to stay in the #Media_Spotlight.

💥 Celebrities & The Powerful 👈 An Inseparable Relationship!

3️⃣ Celebrities today wield such influence over "public sentiment" that capitalists and #Politicians use them as tools for advertising and controlling #Public_Opinion. The prime example is using celebrities during #Elections, where they—often unwittingly—become pawns in the hands of political players.

💥 Iranian Celebrities 👈 Betrayal or Naivety?!!

4️⃣ In Iran, this phenomenon has a different flavor. Some celebrities—knowingly or unknowingly—have become tools for Western #Influence. We saw examples of this during the 2009 sedition (Fitna), the 2019-2020 unrest, and beyond, where some figures played the role of a pressure lever in a coordinated manner.

5️⃣ Some of these individuals, by traveling to the West to give birth, obtaining foreign citizenship, and turning a blind eye to national interests, have effectively served agendas they may not even comprehend. However, the main culprits are the country's #Cultural_Managers, who have not only failed to neutralize these scenarios but have sometimes fueled this process through #Naivety or outright #Betrayal.

🎬 The Birth of a Lie: How Cinema Learned to Deceive https://jscenter.ir/jews-and-the-media/jews-and-hollywood/20758 On the anniversary of cinema's creation, a look at its powerful—and often dark—potential. The story of cinema is not just one of art and entertainment…
🎬 The End of "Art for Art's Sake": How WWI Weaponized Cinema
https://jscenter.ir/jews-and-the-media/jews-and-hollywood/21086

On the anniversary of cinema's creation, we examine the war that exposed its true power as a tool for mass influence, not just entertainment.

World War I was a turning point in cinematic history. This global conflict stripped away cinema's innocent facade as a mere "art form" and revealed its immense potential as a tool of "soft power" and public diplomacy. It became clear that the "silver screen" could shape public opinion, rally nations, and forge modern myths.

📽️ Case Study: "The Battle of the Somme" (1916)

This five-part documentary, produced with direct support from the British War Office, is a prime example:

· It brought 20 million British viewers into cinemas within just six weeks of its release (from a population of ~46 million).
· British Prime Minister David Lloyd George personally promoted it, urging citizens to "see this picture" which showcased "the bravery of our men."
· After influencing the domestic audience, it was rapidly distributed internationally by the government's public diplomacy apparatus, affecting viewers in 18 other countries.

This film proved that cinema could be a powerful engine for social capital and national morale.

🌍 The Ideological Shift: From Theism to "Isms"

Beyond geopolitical changes, WWI triggered a profound civilizational shift. It weakened traditional, theism-centered (God-focused) values and paved the way for man-made, humanist ideologies to fill the void.

· The war created the perfect conditions for removing religion from public life.
· The post-war world saw the rise of competing secular "isms": Socialism in the USSR, Individualism in the USA, Nationalism in Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy.
· Cinema, as a new and powerful medium, was quickly seized upon by these emerging ideologies. A "tsunami of isms" flooded the cinematic landscape, each using it to promote its worldview.

💡 The Triple Revelation: Industry, Art, Medium

Before WWI, cinema was seen mainly as a novel industry—a technical and commercial venture. Its artistic and, most importantly, its media/mass communication dimensions were obscured.

· Its high financial barriers and need for artistic talent naturally led to significant involvement from the globally connected Jewish community, which had the capital and artistic networks.
· After the war, theorists like Ricciotto Canudo began calling cinema the "Seventh Art," emphasizing its aesthetic value. While this developed film's artistic language, it also served as a brilliant smokescreen.
· The slogan "Art for Art's Sake" or "cinema for cinema" diverted public attention from its core function: a mass media tool. This disguise allowed the new "isms" to maximize their use of cinema for propaganda while the public saw only "art."

🔚 Conclusion

World War I ended the naive era of cinema. It proved film was not just an industry or an art, but a potent three-fold entity: Industry-Art-Media. The conflict ripped off the veil, showing governments and powers that whoever mastered this medium could shape minds, build social capital, and advance ideologies on an unprecedented scale. The age of cinematic innocence was over; the age of cinematic power had begun.
