"He shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you." โ John 16:15
There are times when all the promises and doctrines of the Bible are of no avail, unless a gracious hand shall apply them to us. We are thirsty, but too faint to crawl to the water- brook. When a soldier is wounded in battle it is of little use for him to know that there are those at the hospital who can bind up his wounds, and medicines there to ease all the pains which he now suffers: what he needs is to be carried thither, and to have the remedies applied. It is thus with our souls, and to meet this need there is one, even the Spirit of truth, who takes of the things of Jesus, and applies them to us. Think not that Christ hath placed his joys on heavenly shelves that we may climb up to them for ourselves, but he draws near, and sheds his peace abroad in our hearts. O Christian, if thou art to-night labouring under deep distresses, thy Father does not give thee promises and then leave thee to draw them up from the Word like buckets from a well, but the promises he has written in the Word he will write anew on your heart. He will manifest his love to you, and by his blessed Spirit, dispel your cares and troubles. Be it known unto thee, O mourner, that it is God's prerogative to wipe every tear from the eye of his people. The good Samaritan did not say, "Here is the wine, and here is the oil for you"; he actually poured in the oil and the wine. So Jesus not only gives you the sweet wine of the promise, but holds the golden chalice to your lips, and pours the life-blood into your mouth. The poor, sick, way-worn pilgrim is not merely strengthened to walk, but he is borne on eagles' wings. Glorious gospel! which provides everything for the helpless, which draws nigh to us when we cannot reach after it-brings us grace before we seek for grace! Here is as much glory in the giving as in the gift. Happy people who have the Holy Ghost to bring Jesus to them.

๐ฝ ๐ซ๐ท France: 7 Million People Face Food Poverty
According to the survey, 13% of the population consists of adults who sometimes/often go without enough to eat, with 39% (47% among young adults) saying they can't eat what they want.
Since Macron became president, a million people have been added to the poverty bracket. Purchasing power has declined year by year, and food banks now see long lines of young people.

Peter Thiel on being evil:
"If you're evil, you're at least competent. And if you're evil, you're not bad. And therefore, you're actually kind of good because you're at least getting something done."
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:20

You Cannot Be Sick
โBut He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.โ Isaiah 53:5
You cannot be sick because Jesus Christ paid it all on the cross. He took our infirmities upon Himself to make us whole. I have always made this confession for years: I can never be sick! I can never be poor!
Most of the time, the devil will try to inflict certain sicknesses on us to try our faith in the Word of God. When he comes and finds nothing to fight him back, he makes his home in your body. And after tormenting and torturing you and still finding that you are subject to his influence, he makes a deposit and leaves you in that state.
It is unlawful to pay for a thing bought twice. Your health is your wealth. Most people spend most of their capital on hospital bills. But this year, I speak as a prophet of God: none shall be found with any sickness. Your organs will function the way they were made to function. Your kidney will not fail. Any arrow of the enemy against you this year shall come to naught.
You and your family will enjoy divine health because you have the right to divine health. Give attention to what gets into your body. Feed your body with the Word daily.
Prayer
Lord, I choose to walk in divine health, in Jesus' name!

When you fornicate, you are giving away your soul. when you sin, there is a dent on your righteousness.
Challenge to Practicality โ John 1:43
Jesus found Philip in Galilee. Philip, at his best, was a practical and sensible man.[1] At his worst, Philip was earth-bound and without imagination.[2] Yet Jesus saw something special in Philip. He was of eternal value, just like any other person. However, Jesus also felt Philip had something unique to offer to the work of the Kingdom. So, led by God after a night of fervent prayer,[3] Jesus selected Philip as one of his 12 apostles. Remarkably, when Jesus called him to be his disciple, Philip followed Jesus immediately and gave up everything.
Jesus obviously sees more in us than others see, just as he did with Philip. He also gives us the opportunity to do the daring, awesome, and adventurous: to follow him and to be used by him, in mighty ways. Are you ready for adventure? Then come follow Jesus!
Today's Prayer
Gracious and Almighty God, forgive me for clinging to my habits, my earthbound forms of security, and my fears about surrendering everything to you. Please inspire me to the courage to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. In the name of my Savior and Trailblazer, I pray. Amen.

Is your mind constantly being pulled in every directionโ
You sit down to pray, but suddenly you remember something you need to do.
You open your Bible, but your phone lights up.
One notification becomes another...
And before you realize it, your attention has been everywhereโฆexcept on God.
Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, distraction does not always look dangerous.
Sometimes it creeps in quietly.
So if your mind feels scattered today, here are three verses you can take with you in the battle.
โ๏ธ Battle Verse #1
Psalm 119:10 KJB says:
โWith my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.โ
Sometimes we do not deliberately turn away from God.
We simply wander. Our attention, our thoughts, our priorities all wander...
But when you notice it happening, do not stay there.
Recognize it. Correct it. Return to God.
โ๏ธ Battle Verse #2
2 Timothy 2:4 KJB says:
โNo man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.โ
There is a difference between living your life and becoming entangled in it.
Work, responsibilities, entertainment, notifications, arguments, worry, and endless scrolling can fill your mind while leaving your spirit starving.
Sometimes fighting distraction means removing something.
Turn the notifications off. Put your phone away, close those open tabs, stop feeding useless thoughts, and walk away from pointless arguments.
Not everything deserves access to your attention!
โ๏ธ Battle Verse #3
Hebrews 12:2 KJB says:
โLooking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.โ
This is where the battle comes down to one question:
Where are you looking?
You can spend all day trying not to look at distractionsโฆ
or you can deliberately turn your eyes toward Jesus Christ.
Open His Word, daily. Pray, daily. Thank Him, Praise Him, Worship Him, and remember all that HE has done for you!
Because, the world will constantly shout:
โLook over here!โ
But not everything deserves your eyes, your ears, your thoughts, your time, your energy or your attention.
Jesus Christ does.
Warrior, distraction does not always try to make you abandon God completely.
Sometimes it simply keeps you busy enough that God receives whatever attention is left over, if any.
Do not give the LORD your leftovers.
Give Him your first thoughts. Your best attention, your heart, mind, soul, and time.
He has given you time, so use it for HIM.
Keep moving forward with Jesus Christ.
God is with you, so stand firm!
