من أهم مضاعفات خلع الاسنان وأكثرها شيوعا

Introduction

بعد خلع اي سن يتكون في
( socket )
السن التى تم خلعها مايعرف ب
( clot )
ويتكون ايضا (granulation tissue )

ال( clot)
المتكونة لها وظيفتين رئيستين :

الاولى وهي انها توقف النزف من
( socket )

الثانية هي انها تساعد في عملية
(healing)

~~وبتالي عندما نفقد ( clot)
بعد ان تكونت لأي سبب كان
هذا يعني ان تتعرقل عملية
ال (healing)
ويؤدي الى (dry socket💡)

~~وان لم تتكون
(لclot ) من البداية هذا يعني ان المريض سيعاني من (bleeding )
اي نزيف وهذا موضوع اخر

Etiology (عوامل) as:

Poor oral hygiene
Deeply impacted 3rd molar
Traumatic extraction
Bacterial pyrogens
Estrogen
Post surgical infection
Smooking and tobacco

ولكن كيف تأثر هذه العوامل او كيف تسبب (dry socket)؟؟
كما قلت سابقا بان (dry socket) يحدث نتيجة لفقدان
ل(clot) بعد ماتكونت (normally )

هذه العوامل تسبب فقدان( clot )

لنفصل ذالك :
Normally

الhealing داخل (socket) يكون طبيعي بعد خلع (tooth ( عن طريق تكون( fibrin) (الfibrin هذا هو المكون الاساسي ل clot)

ولكن العوامل المذكورة☝☝ تسبب تكون (plasmin) و ل (plasmin )هذا يعمل (fibrinolysis )اي تحلل ال( fibrin) وبتالي يدمر (clot )فيحدث (dry socket )

Prevention

الوقاية من ( dry socket ) تعتمد على التعليمات التي يجب توجيهها للمريض بعد خلع السن 👮

وهيا كتالي :
👮 Avoid smooking on day of extraction

👮 Avoid extensive sucking and spitting after extraction

👮 Avoid premature removal of the first cotton from extracted socket

كل هذه الاشياء ☝☝☝ يجب تجنبها لانها تؤدي الى فقدان
ال Initial clot

Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. Sometimes these teeth can be a valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are misaligned and require removal. When wisdom teeth are misaligned, they may position themselves horizontally, be angled toward or away from the second molars, or be angled inward or outward. Poor alignment of wisdom teeth can crowd or damage adjacent teeth, the jawbone, or nerves.
Wisdom teeth also can be impacted -- they are enclosed within the soft tissue and/or the jawbone or only partially break through or erupt through the gum. Partial eruption of the wisdom teeth allows an opening for bacteria to enter around the tooth and cause an infection, which results in pain, swelling, jaw stiffness, and general illness. Partially erupted teeth are also more prone to tooth decay and gum diseas,e because their hard-to-reach loc.
