Orthodontics is specialty of dentistry that deals with diagnosis, prevention, correcion of malpositioned teeth and jaw.
It also focus on modifying facial growth (known as dentofacial orthopedics ).

#some indication of orthodontics:
1-overbite(back teeth)
2-underbite(balldog)apperance.
3-crossbite.
4-open bite.
5-missplaced midline.
6-spacing .
7-crowding.

#How Does Orthodontic Treatment Work?
Many different types of appliances,
are used to help move teeth,
retrain muscles and affect the growth of the jaws.

#These appliances include:
1-fixed appliances.
2-removable appliances.
3-functional appliances.
4-extraoral appliances.
5-jaw repositioning appliances.
6-lip and cheek pumpers.
