Keep an eye on China (globally) and Cuba to our south. These type of actions and counter-actions are rarely about two nations. The nature of our multipolar world demands we keep our strategic heads on a 360 degree swivel.

Lastly, during the American Civil War we went through an election so when Zelensky gives the lame excuse that Ukraine is at war so he must maintain Marshall Law, he’s full of it. End the war and get a long term peace agreement in place. America can no longer afford to be distracted by the mire that Ukraine has become. And Europe needs to get over their perceived threat that Russia is going to attack further into Western Europe. They have neither the resources nor the will to do so. 1.4 million Americans killed in action (KIA) on the streets of America since 2000 by narco-terrorist groups over the past 25 years is roughly 56K Americans KIA every year.
