Meeting of committee members to discuss and organise the Bhagavati Seva Puja at Cholakkara Durga temple Malappuram and the restoration work.
Chief Priest Kalloor Mana Sreekumaran Namboothirppad will perform the Bhagavati Seva Puja along with other priests.

Ayyamkulamgara Uma Maheswara temple in Malappuram is neighboured by people who don't believe in idol worship. One person turned mad recently.

Bhagavati Sewa was conducted at Cholakkara Durga temple in Malappuram.
Bhagavati Sewa involves the worship of Goddess Mahatripurasundari either as Goddess Bhadrakali or as Goddess Durga. Since this was a temple for Goddess Durga, She was worshipped.
A yantra is drawn and a lamp is placed at the centre. Four other lamps are placed at four corners.
The purpose of the Puja is for overcoming hurdles and for general prosperity. The names of all those who booked were given to the priests and mentioned during the rituals.
Lalita sahasranama Archana is done as part of the worship.
We will do more such pujas to strengthen the Divinity at the location.

Should Hindu society depend on the government and politicians to do what they can do by themselves?
Many of us want @ASIGoI to protect Hindu monuments in ruins knowing very well that they won't. This specific task can be done by society via NGOs, citizen groups or religious organisations.

The domes are having the mahapadma and kalasha intact. Structure similar to RamMandir that was demolished by RSS/ VHP cadre.
The entire so called Gyanvapi Masjid is the actual Kashi Vishwanath temple, Islamic invaders painted it.
The temple should not be demolished, only encroachers evicted.

Yesterday ended with threat to stop the restoration of this ancient temple destroyed during 1921 Moplah riots, however work continues today.

The revival of ancient temples in ruins is mainly two activities, one is the physical restoration of the temple and other is the strengthening of the Deity.
During the period in ruins and no worship, the Divine also gets affected. So appropriate homams has to be conducted during the restoration process. This also helps overcome various hurdles.
