We had located an ancient Shiva temple last week in Malappuram district of Kerala. It was heart-wrenching to see Mahadev in ruins , abandoned and without worship. The region had witnessed much violence during the Hindu genocide of 1921.

This week we have started the process of restoration of the temple and the revival of worship of Lord Shiva. Temple premises were cleared as part of the process.

The Ayyamkulangara temple in Malappuram Kerala which has been lying abandoned and in ruins has been cleaned completely.

The revival plan has been discussed with stapathis, astrologists and experts in Kshethra Tantra.

Acharya Varanam is scheduled on 16 Sep 2021 and marks the start of revival of the temple.
