Irregular transfer from Mexico (October 2023): Lured to Tijuana under false pretenses (passport & visa issues), detained without legal basis, and returned to Germany against his will, even though neither extradition nor deportation proceedings had taken place.
Over two years in pretrial detention: Including solitary confinement and conditions described as white torture — disproportionate for the accusation of a purely economic crime.

Police in Minnesota began arresting anti-ICE agitators outside a hotel Monday after authorities said the demonstration escalated and was "no longer considered peaceful," prompting officers to declare an unlawful assembly.
