The Christian celebration of Easter symbolizes the beginning of spring in the Western Hemisphere and, with it, a new cycle of the Earth; it embodies humanity’s certainty that every dark phase will come to an end and that light will dispel the darkness. It awakens our faith in the rebirth of light and inspires us never to lose our courage and hope, even in the darkness of our times. At Easter, nature awakens to new life; everything begins to bloom and turn green.

Dear Reiner,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for having the courage to speak up and ask the questions that so many of us have been dying to ask. US Vice President JD Vance visits Hungary a few days before the parliamentary elections there. At Budapest Airport he was received by the country's Foreign Minister, Péter Szijjártó. On Tuesday afternoon, the Republican met with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán – in the early afternoon there was a joint press conference between the two.

At the joint press conference, the Hungarian and the American demonstratively emphasized the good Hungarian-American relations. Since Donald Trump's election as US president, these have entered a „golden era“, Orbán said. The Prime Minister emphasized that a US Vice President last visited Hungary 35 years ago – Vance is the highest-ranking US guest in over 20 years.

Both Orbán and Vance addressed alleged „foreign interference“ in the parliamentary elections. The US Vice President warned: „This is one of the worst cases of foreign election interference I have seen.“ He accuses the EU – the „bureaucrats in Brussels“, as Vance puts it – of exerting influence in favor of the Hungarian opposition bloc around Péter Magyar. Dear Rainer,
For a long time now, you have been a courageous voice for me against “powers” that seem invincible and lull themselves into a false sense of security with their backing—not just since the injustices of the pandemic.

Those under our care, in particular, needed to be protected from the undignified, dehumanizing, and contemptuous C-measures. You provided guidance and helped them help themselves.

I would like to bring my concerns before God, along with everything that moves me, including your fate.
As an intercession: a person who bears a burden, suffers, is afraid, and feels alone.
May comfort, strength, resolve, and wisdom, along with people who stand by you, be placed at your side.

No one is alone, even if it sometimes feels that way. It is a false feeling.

In the face of suffering and injustice, of having to endure all these measures, as well as the people who order and implement these measures without hesitation or doubt, may these words from Bonhoeffer be a light to you in the deepest darkness or even despair, giving you encouragement, confidence, and hope in these difficult times.

Hawaii remains under a statewide flood watch after a severe storm hit the state and prompted officials to order evacuations. The potential for flash floods threaten the island of Oahu and parts of Maui County, Governor Josh Green said on Saturday.

The storm that struck this weekend (artical originally published on March 21st, situation still dangerous) is the second severe weather event to hit the archipelago in the last week. Some parts of the state received 40 to 50in (127cm) of rain in the last 10 days, according to Green. Oahu could receive four to six more, while parts of Maui could experience between four to 12in, he said. "Don't take this storm lightly," Green said in a video statement. No deaths had been reported, he said, but there have been few serious injuries.

The state has activated a programme for people displaced by the storm that allows them to get discounted hotel rates. In a subsequent post, the governor warned that, because the ground had already been saturated by the earlier rainfall, "it will take much less rain to trigger flooding, road closures and damage". The damage from the storms could exceed $1bn (£745m), according to Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi.
More than 230 people have been rescued so far, Blangiardi told a news conference on Friday.

The authorities warned that a dam in Oahu, the state's most populous island, was at risk of collapse. Blangiardi urged residents to "stay safe" and "take the storm as seriously as you can".

It took me a couple of months of fear before I figured out that the Covid injection was not for me and my little family. I'm naturally distrusting of authority, being the scape goat of my family. However, your committee and the 25 hours of coverage were a huge gift! I devoured them and coerced my husband to watch too. They provided the information to convince my husband to take an unequivocal stand with me, and to face down the duress dished out unrelentingly at the primary school of our daughter.
The information from your psychologists helped me to be at peace with myself and my sisters, when, after all my efforts to convince them, and all the begging in the world - couldn't stop them from taking all the jabs and jabbing their teenage children too.
I cried deep loud and angry for many weeks for all the innocent trusting citizens, who again, I couldn't persuade. My pupils, friends, colleagues looking at me as at deranged traitor.
My sense of helplessness and ineffectiveness was huge, and I developed frozen shoulder in both shoulders, which trust me, is not great if you're a violinist.
