After several days of trending down and fighting against the daily trend, we have expanded to the downside, trading around range lows.

The daily chart points to three scenarios:

1. BTC holds the 200 EMA and bounces back to the daily trend, where the fight against the D1 trend should resume (blue).
2. BTC holds the 200 EMA, bounces to the D1 trend, reclaims it, and turns it into support (red).
3. BTC fails to hold the daily 200 EMA, sending prices lower (black).

Keep in mind that the most important thing now is to hold the range lows and the D1 200 EMA.

In the last update, we discussed the daily picture, which remains unchanged, making the previous analysis still valid.

Now, let's zoom in on the chart:

The price has been stuck under the H4 (13/21 EMAs) for almost a month, with another failed attempt to break through yesterday.

If we manage to break above the H4 trend, we will target the 200 EMA and 100 SMA around mid-range.

This zone looks ideal for a bottom formation. If the price doesn't get rejected here, the EMAs will start catching up with the price, potentially making the breakout against the H4 trend easier (Black squiggle).

However, if we reject from here, the H4 trend may send the price to tap the D1 200 EMA around 58k.

Going back to the daily chart, in the previous update we talked about three scenarios.

Currently there's no point talking about the scenario marked in red as price rejected the D1 trend yesterday.

Now the focus needs to be on the D1 200EMA. Hold it and we can hope for blue to play out then we can watch for red when D1 trend is flipped into support.
If lost than black will be the play.

In the previous update, we noted that the price was fighting the H4 trend, which has been ongoing for a month. The price managed to close above it, allowing us to take a long position and enjoy a nice profit as the price moved directly to the 100 MA.

The goal was to sustain above the H4 (13/21 EMAs) trend and eventually tap the 200 EMA, but we got rejected, and the price failed to defend the trend.

Currently, if $60K isn't defended, the price will likely drop to around $58,250 (D1 200 EMA).

With the US markets closed tomorrow and expected low volume, the best scenario for BTC is to hold $60K today and attempt to form a bottom or hit the 200 EMA on the daily and hold it. This would allow the price to remain flat during the market closure and reduce momentum for this bearish price action.
