Hold POC = continuation higher.
Lose POC but hold H4 trend = chop or continuation higher at best.
Lose H4 trend = big chop at best or range lows in the worst case.

Boring day in the market, logical as it's FOMC week.

Bitcoin at the 100SMA in the H4, if it holds as support we can aim for the H4 trend reclaim.
If 100SMA holds and H4 trend fails to reclaim we will range in between.
If H4 100SMA doesn't hold, we can aim for the 200EMA.

We're currently trading below Monday Lows, H1 trend is at the same levels at the moment.

H4 trend catched down with the price on this small range as mentioned yesterday, if 100SMA holds and we fail to reclaim H4 trend we will most likely range in between.

FOMC in less than one hour will for sure resolve this compression.

In the hourly chart if it wasn't an FOMC day I would take this long as I shared yesterday, but in this case we can expect a lot of volatility in both directions so I'll just wait one more hour and see how market digests the info.

I think that Bitcoin has reached a local bottom, as long as we don't closse a 30mn or hourly candle below the lows that we've set.

We can try to anticipate a move like this by taking positions with the stop loss below the last lows.

The reaction at the daily 13/21 EMA's will be crucial to know if we're going higher or rejecting and setting a lower high.

If we reject before going to the Daily trend we will most likely go down more or chop at best.

We have a Naked POC at highs 55K, I will bid this area if we get it as there will be almost nothing left below these prices.

After the last update, Bitcoin failed to hold the daily 200 EMA and dropped straight to the 300 SMA, briefly dipping below it before bouncing back and currently trading above it.

I've drawn three circles to illustrate how BTC first bounced from the 100 SMA, then from the 200 EMA, and now from the 300 SMA.

No one can accurately predict where Bitcoin will head from here, and if someone claims they know, it's best not to follow that advice.

Instead, the best approach is to play an "if-then" strategy on the lower time frames. Therefore, our focus will be on the H1 and H4 time frames, or lower if needed, mostly playing gap fills in BTC, ETH, or other altcoins.

We will keep this major update in mind and switch to lower time frame analysis to see what opportunities arise.

It's very important for Bitcoin to remain above the H4 trend today. A close above it would be the first sign of a potential reversal.

The best confirmation would be a close above $58K today.

I will also look to position with a daily close above $57K, with the setup invalidated by a daily close below that level.
