Two possible ways BTC could take, depending on where DXY rejects.

First One : If DXY don't push to >104.xx and rejects

Second One : if DXY push to the 1D 200EMA for a bearish retest.

Would turn cautious on taking positions if we close a 4hr/daily candle below 22K

DXY strong in the AM, dragging BTC down.

SPX weakness.

Both SPX and BTC are still highly correlated.
DXY on an inverted correlation with these two assets.

So DXY up BTC and SPX down..

On the last update I talked about two scenarios.

At the moment we have the first ( chart ) scenario playing out with DXY rejecting from 103.XX

On the Dollar index we can see that 101.XX is the next target with the clear void created on the left.


Going back to BTC :

Invalidation is still below 22K. I will evaluate back my charts and ideas if price reacts badly at the US session ( Opening in 1hour and 30 minutes from now )

We should see BTC and SPX going higher and DXY down.

#BTC Update

Yesterday we talked about a possible dip on DXY with BTC and SPX pumping ! Then came the bad news about Kraken and US govt looking to ban staking, unfortunately no one can predict this type of news, and their impact on the market.

Let's get back to our charts and see what we got :

Bitcoin went straight to the 4H 200EMA, closing almost fully the gap we made on 20th January when we pumped from 21 to 23K.

S&P500 lost it's 4H trend, and currently retesting it as resistance.
Reclaim back the trend and it's positive. A hard drop below the hourly 200EMA around 4025 would mean further downside and next stop gonna be around 3955.

Still below 104 which is the local top for DXY in my opinion before we see lower prices ( below 100 )

Conclusion :

If SPX bottoms out than it's very likely that BTC also reached it's local bottom.
But if SPX goes down below these levels to 4025, BTC will also go lower to 21-20K.

200EMA on the 4hr chart can't be considered as lost since we're just ranging here.
200EMA on Daily is the one that should hold price.

Chop now before turning bullish by end of day is on the cards.

20900-20700 is the max we can see if/when going down. I don't see BTC going below 20000.
