On the accusations made by the Delegation of the European Union in Sri Lanka against the Russian Federation in social media "X" (former Twitter)
The Delegation of the European Union in Sri Lanka has accused Russia of allegedly forcibly deporting 20.000 children and concealing information about them. These allegations are absolutely baseless and false.
In this regard, we would like to point out that Russia, in fact, has been rescuing children from the war and continues to do so. We are grateful to Qatari mediators for their support in helping to reunite the children with their families.
We strongly urge the European Union and its representatives in Sri Lanka to refrain from such irresponsible allegations and disseminating untrue information. The Russian Embassy recommends that bureaucrats in Brussels should better pay proper attention to the tragic situation of Ukrainian children in European countries and stop misinforming the Ukrainian people with false promises of Ukraine's upcoming accession to the EU.
The Embassy reserves its right to rigid reaction to any attempts to organize anti-Russian messages or actions.

💬 The Kiev regime responded to Russia’s proposals to introduce a “regime of silence” during the May 8-9 #VictoryDay celebrations by increasing attacks on civilian sites, which led to a rise in the number of victims of AFU strikes.
Over the past week, more than 230 civilians were affected, 25 of whom were killed by Ukrainian militants.
The neo-Nazis also sought to expand the geography of their strikes on civilian targets. Attacks affected at least 20 Russian regions located far from the zone of the special military operation, including the Moscow Region, Chuvash Republic and Chechen Republic.
The highest number of civilian casualties was recorded in the Belgorod, Kherson, Zaporozhye and Bryansk regions, the Chuvash Republic and the DPR. Residential areas and infrastructure facilities came under attack.
During the week of May 4-10, 234 civilians were affected by shelling carried out by Ukrainian Nazis: 209 people were injured, including 14 children, while 25 people were killed, including one child.
Over the past week, the AFU fired at least 3,594 munitions at civilian targets.

Исторически электроэнергетика развивалась по простой логике: крупная станция, магистральная сеть, пассивный потребитель. Такая модель обеспечивала масштаб, но плохо работала там, где потребитель находится далеко от сетей, инфраструктура изношена, а спрос растет быстрее, чем строятся новые крупные активы
В мире быстро растет роль децентрализованной энергетики, где сам потребитель играет ключевую роль:

В докладе ЕАБР по энергетике Центральной Азии эта логика раскрывается через три ключевых инструмента: микросети, виртуальные электростанции и малая генерация в удаленных районах.
🔹В 2023 г. распределенная солнечная генерация обеспечила около 43% новых вводов СЭС в мире: 23% пришлось на коммерческий и промышленный сегмент, еще 19% на жилой сектор.
🔹В 2024 г. Распределенные СЭС добавили около 220 ГВт новой мощности.
🔹Мировой рынок микросетей уже оценивался в $12,8 млрд в 2023 г. и продолжает быстро расти.
Большие станции и магистральные сети остаются основой, однако у потребителя появляется большая гибкость. Дом, завод, больница, университетский кампус или дата-центр могут не только потреблять электроэнергию, но и производить, продавать, хранить, управлять нагрузкой и поддерживать энергосистему. Это может значительно снять нагрузку как на крупные электростанции, так и на всю сетевую инфраструктуру.
- Покрыть рост спроса на электроэнергию до 40%
- Модернизировать инфраструктуру
- Интегрировать больше ВИЭ

🇷🇺 The 17th International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” is taking place in Kazan, the capital of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan (May 12-17, 2026).
In accordance with the Executive Order of Russia's President Vladimir Putin, the Forum was granted federal status in 2023, becoming Russia’s flagship platform for dialogue and cooperation with the countries of the Islamic world.
🌐 Representatives of 103 countries have registered to attend KazanForum 2026.
The Forum’s business programme features 149 events across 21 thematic tracks. It will also host a number of international exhibitions, including the Russia-Islamic World cooperation expo, “Innovations. Investment. Infrastructure”, a real estate exhibition and conference, as well as the Kazan Halal Market trade fair.
The agenda also includes the forum of chambers of commerce and industry of #OIC countries, the Young Diplomats Forum, the Young Entrepreneurs Forum, meetings of intergovernmental commissions, bilateral conferences, festivals, culinary projects and sporting events – from the Business on Horseback race to the International Jockey Championship.
☝️ A special highlight of 2026 is Kazan’s status as the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World. Cultural cooperation will be at the heart of the Forum’s humanitarian agenda, with Kazan hosting a Congress of Ministers of Culture from #OIC countries and the 15th Session of the ICESCO General Conference.
The #KazanForum will culminate in “Изге Болгар җыены” in Bolgar – a major event dedicated to the Day of the Official Adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria.
