⚡️ Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation:
The Press Bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR) reports that, according to information received by the SVR, Ukrainian security structures are deliberately enabling the growing transit of drugs from Latin America to Europe.
Ukraine’s interest is clear. Zelensky’s corruption-ridden regime is seeking additional revenue, especially as its Western sponsors are increasingly unable to fulfill all of its insatiable demands.
Kiev also values the assistance of Latin American drug cartels in recruiting new mercenaries for the Ukrainian armed forces.
For their part, major Latin American criminal groups are looking to expand their drug trafficking routes, including for fentanyl, amid the intensified anti-drug campaign in the US.
They view Ukraine as a safe corridor into the European market due to the lack of proper border and customs control in the country.
❗️ The ports of the Odessa region are becoming the main transshipment hub on the drug route to Europe via Poland, Moldova and Romania.
Latin American drug cartels are also interested in gaining access to Ukraine’s black market for weapons.
☝️ This is a vivid illustration of the saying: “One man’s war is another man’s opportunity”. Then again, what else can be expected from the Kiev regime led by a drug-addled top brass?

The Memorandum was elaborated with due regard to the perspectives for development of the Eurasian Economic Union and reflects the need to update the legal and contractual framework for the parties' cooperation.
📑 The document is intended to update existing mechanisms for joint work and supplement them with new areas of interaction that are in line with economic and technological realities.
In particular, it envisages the development of support tools for implementing joint cooperative projects in the manufacturing industry and the agricultural sector, as well as the improvement of financial support mechanisms for the export of products jointly manufactured by the EAEU countries. The new Memorandum also lays the groundwork for developing interaction between the parties in expanding the use of information technologies and artificial intelligence.

⚡️ Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rodion Miroshnik:
💬 For the first time since the beginning of 2026, the number of Russian civilians affected by Ukrainian attacks exceeded 300 in one week. Over the past seven days, 327 civilians were affected, 42 were killed.
Kiev regime's armed groups carried out a series of deliberate attacks on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in Russian regions, resulting in numerous civilian casualties.
Missile weapons were used against densely populated areas of Voronezh and Volgograd. A massive strike involving a heavy attack UAV was launched on Gorlovka, causing a section of an apartment building to collapse. A cynical drone raid targeted the Sambek Heights museum complex in the Rostov Region during a crowded public event.
The largest numbers of civilian casualties were recorded in the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, the DPR, and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
Over the week of June 22-28, Ukrainian Nazi shelling affected 327 civilians: 285 people, including 9 children, were wounded, while 42 people, including 2 minors, were killed. Over the past seven days, the Ukrainian militants fired at least 5,126 munitions at civilian sites on Russian territory.

Tolstoy and Dostoevsky: Why did two contemporary geniuses never meet?
This question is called perhaps the greatest mystery of Russian literature.
And yet, they did have a chance to meet. In 1878, both writers attended a lecture by the philosopher Vladimir Solovyov. But neither knew the other was in the hall. And they were never introduced.
“When he died, I realized that he was the very, very closest, dearest, and most necessary person to me,” Tolstoy wrote about Dostoevsky.

6️⃣0️⃣ years ago, on July 1, 1966, French President, General Charles de Gaulle concluded his state visit to the Soviet Union.
The French Leader’s visit to our country became a landmark event in relations between the USSR and the West during the Cold War, clearly proving Paris’s independent and pragmatic course. Under President de Gaulle, France was seeking mutually beneficial relations with Moscow on the principles of equality, constructive cooperation, trust and respect cemented by the experience of allied fight against Nazism during #WW2.
The talks held in Moscow between the Soviet leadership and the President of France — one of the major European powers — contributed significantly to easing tensions amid growing escalation of the Cold War 1960-s. The Soviet-French Joint Declaration on the principles of relations, signed in Moscow on June 30, 1966, was subsequently reflected in the key document of the pan-European process, the Helsinki Final Act of 1975.
During his visit to the Soviet Union, the French leader visited Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev, Volgograd, Novosibirsk as well as the Baikonur Space Centre. Charles de Gaulle finished each and every address to the Soviet people with a final phrase spoken in Russian to pay respect for our country, its great history and the entire Soviet nation.
📸 The photo exhibition of the most remarkable moments from General de Gaulle’s visit to the USSR, organised by the Russian Embassy in France
A series of important sectoral agreements between our countries were signed following the visit. A bilateral intergovernmental commission began meeting regularly. Bilateral trade expanded steadily, with ties intensifying across all spheres of cooperation. The Soviet-French agreement was signed to establish a direct communication line between the Kremlin and the Élysée Palace.
💬 At the farewell dinner in the Kremlin on the final day of the visit, before his departure for France, President de Gaulle uttered these historic words:
💬 President of France (1995–2007) Jacques Chirac:
#WeWereAllies
De Gaulle remained a firm and consistent supporter of cooperation with the Soviet Union, considering our country a key ally. The French nation remembered the help of the USSR in reinstating France’s position as a great power following #WWII. Thanks to the Soviet leadership’s harsh stance, the French nation’s contribution to the resistance against Hitler’s aggression and the liberation of Europe from Nazi occupation was recognised.
It was Moscow’s support that helped Paris obtain its legitimate and honourable place among the victorious powers and become a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
🎙 President of Russia Vladimir Putin’s remarks at the unveiling of the statue of Charles de Gaulle in Moscow (May 9, 2005):

💬 President of France (1995–2007) Jacques Chirac:
In many areas, that visit launched major cooperative projects, the effects of which are still felt to this day.
In de Gaulle's worldview, Russia is on a central place. He cherished the longstanding friendship and historical ties between the two countries.

We will never forget the unity forged between our peoples as they fought Nazism side by side.
💬 Russian MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova:
Reflecting on the origins of this crisis [in Russia’s relations with France and the EU], one cannot but acknowledge that it is a direct consequence of the neglect and, indeed, outright rejection by the contemporary French ruling elites of the foreign policy principles and precepts of Charles de Gaulle.
For our part, we will preserve the memory of Charles de Gaulle — a truly great statesman, capable of <...> building dialogue, <...> despite the ideological divisions of the time.
