20 Years as a Chartered Accountant – A Journey of Reinvention
Today, I complete 20 years since earning the privilege of becoming a Chartered Accountant.
Looking back, this journey has been about much more than accounting and finance. It has been about constantly learning, adapting, and reinventing myself.
It all began with Jaypee Capital, where I had the opportunity to understand the dynamics of the Indian and global financial markets. Those early years built my foundation in investments, trading, and market research.
From there, I discovered my passion for teaching. Over the years, I have been fortunate to mentor thousands of students pursuing CA, CFA, and finance, helping them build successful careers. Teaching has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my professional life—it has allowed me to learn every single day.
My curiosity then led me deeper into the markets, where I built and worked on algorithmic and options trading strategies, combining finance, technology, and data-driven decision-making.
Today, I am excited to begin yet another chapter—building a business in the recycling and circular economy sector. The opportunity to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future is both inspiring and humbling.
Each phase of these 20 years has taught me one important lesson:
Never stop learning. Never be afraid to reinvent yourself. Growth begins where comfort ends.
I am deeply grateful to my family, mentors, colleagues, clients, students, partners, and friends who have been part of this incredible journey. Your trust and support have made every milestone possible.
