🚨 URGENT: Masjid Carpet Storage Needed (2 Weeks)
Assalamu'alaikum ikhwa,
The new masjid carpet rolls are arriving this Friday and we urgently need some temporary storage space for about two weeks until we fit them during half-term.
We are installing the men's side first, so it doesn't all have to go in one place. If anyone has space for even a few rolls or a portion of the carpet (such as holding back the uninstalled rolls for the women's side), that would be a huge help.
📦 Details: The rolls are 2 meters wide and stackable, so a garage, lock-up, secure room, or local storage space that can fit these dimensions would be ideal.
📩 Please let us know here or message us ASAP if you can help.
Jazakumullahu khairan!
📞 Please text
Shaykh Kamal 07878293763 or brother Aasim 07921450443
if you can help.

🧶 Masjid Carpet Update: £3,000 Needed
Assalamu'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,
Alhamdulillah, the new carpet has arrived in the country and we are now at the final stage.
The men's side will be fitted first, and the women's side later in the year once their area has been upgraded during the holidays.
We now need £3,000 to purchase new high-quality underlay and to cover the fitting of both the underlay and carpet. We have appointed a specialist fitter experienced in high-quality carpets, so it is laid properly with no ripples developing over time, in shā' Allāh.
🎯 If just 30 people donate or raise £100 each, we can get this covered immediately.
Every time a brother stands in prayer on this carpet, every sujood, every recitation of the Qur'an, every lesson of knowledge, every person who sits comfortably to listen to a reminder, you can have a share in that reward, in shā' Allāh, for years to come, even after you have left this world.
This is the beauty of sadaqah jāriyah: you give once, and the reward keeps flowing.
By contributing, you are helping to maintain the house of Allah, bringing comfort to your fellow believers as they pray, and making the masjid a place people love to come to.
The elderly who struggles to sit, the children learning to pray, the student of knowledge in the circle: all of them will benefit from what you give today.
Don't underestimate any amount. £5, £10, £100: Allah sees it all and multiplies it for whom He wills.
Be from those who maintain the masājid of Allah.
📖 Allah says: "The masājid of Allah are only maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish the prayer, give the zakāh and fear none but Allah..." [At-Tawbah 9:18]
📖 Allah says: "The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a grain that sprouts seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies for whom He wills..." [Al-Baqarah 2:261]
📜 The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: an ongoing charity (sadaqah jāriyah), knowledge that is benefited from, or a righteous child who supplicates for him." [Muslim]
📜 The Prophet ﷺ said: "Charity does not decrease wealth." [Muslim]
🤲 Every prayer, sujood and gathering of knowledge on this carpet can be a continuing reward for you, in shā' Allāh. Please contribute what you can and share this with others.

A woman used to clean the masjid of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. When she passed away, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم noticed and asked about her. Then he went to her grave and prayed over her. [Bukhārī & Muslim]
Caring for the house of Allāh is never a small deed.
Our new carpet has arrived and is waiting to be fitted. Alḥamdulillāh, we've reached a massive £1,268 of the £3,000 required for the underlay and the professional fitting.
Give something before your day begins, and may Allāh accept it from you as ṣadaqah jāriyah.

Alḥamdulillāh, yesterday, a sister in her early twenties came to the masjid and embraced Islām.
She used to visit the masjid as a young girl, as she has a family member who attends. Alḥamdulillāh, many years later, she came to realise that what she had seen and learnt about Islām was the truth, and made the decision to become Muslim.
We ask Allāh to increase her in beneficial knowledge, grant her the ability to act upon it, and keep her firm upon Islām. Āmīn.
