🌕 New research reveals bull ants use an innate lunar compass for nighttime navigation, a behavior previously unknown.

⏰ Scientists discovered these ants employ "time compensation" to track the moon's position, similar to how early humans used the North Star.

🔬 Experiments showed that when deprived of light cues, ants deviated from their path, confirming the moon's crucial role in their navigation.

⭐ Bull ants combine their lunar navigation with terrestrial and solar cues, allowing them to navigate effectively even when moon visibility changes.
