🐄 An Austrian cow named Veronika has demonstrated an unprecedented ability to use tools, specifically a deck brush, to scratch herself.

🌾 Veronika, a 13-year-old brown Swiss cow, exhibited intelligence by selecting different parts of the brush for various scratching needs, even adjusting the tool with her tongue.

🔬 Researchers Antonio Osuna Mascaró and Alice Auersperg from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna confirmed this multi-purpose tool use, a trait previously observed only in chimpanzees beyond humans.

🤔 The discovery challenges long-held assumptions about livestock intelligence and suggests cattle may possess untapped potential for innovation.
