🐾 African wild dogs have achieved a record-breaking 2,485-mile journey across Africa in search of a mate, demonstrating the potential for wildlife to traverse vast distances despite human development.
🐕 This 8-month journey saw three brothers navigate through Zambia, avoiding major cities and human obstacles, highlighting their ability to disperse across landscapes.
🚧 However, the study also reveals the severe dangers faced by these rare predators, with other tracked wild dogs dying in illegal snares, emphasizing the urgent need for connected habitats.
