Sentinel Security teams were dispatched following alerts that members of the public were looting stock from a truck after it had lost part of its load.
Sentinel Security Tactical teams, together with law enforcement, responded swiftly and brought the situation under control.
The presence of the responding teams caused the looters to retreat, dropping the stolen stock.
Losses were largely limited to the damaged goods from the initial tipped load, while the remaining stock inside the trailer was successfully safeguarded from further looting.
Well done to all members involved for bringing a swift resolution to a chaotic situation while ensuring the safety of road users and securing the remaining cargo.

Sentinel Security Tactical Teams were dispatched to a client’s residence following panic alarm activations.
Upon arrival, teams heard distress calls coming from inside the premises and responded immediately in accordance with training and operational protocols.
Sentinel Security officers gained entry and discovered that the client, an elderly gentleman, had fallen and sustained a suspected hip displacement.
The client had activated his panic button as he was unable to access his mobile phone, which was located in another area of the residence.
Emergency Medical Services were promptly dispatched, while Sentinel officers provided first responder assistance until medical support arrived.
Well done Sentinel Security teams for the swift and professional response in assisting a client in need.

The suspect was apprehended by Sentinel Security Armed Response Officers. Stolen copper cable was recovered after being found in the suspect's possession. Suspect handed over to SAPS for processing.

Sentinel Security operations team were deployed to the Roadblock and Saturation Divisions, working alongside SAPS, EMPD, Home Affairs Immigration, the Brackendowns Community Policing Forum, and other security stakeholders.
The operation yielded significant results, including a number of arrests, the seizure of dangerous weapons, and the recovery of illicit drugs.
Through this coordinated effort, Sentinel Security and law enforcement partners intend to create a safer Brackendowns SAPS precinct.

Our teams together with site representatives recovered 8.68 kg of stolen copper material hidden in an employee’s private vehicle and concealed inside a machine in their work area.
The employee was arrested and handed over to Alberton SAPS for processing.

3 SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOLLOWING ARMED ROBBERY
Sentinel Security High Risk Teams responded to a request for assistance from the Brackendowns Community Policing Forum following an armed robbery incident.
Upon swift arrival, information obtained indicated that the suspects had fled into a large veld area in an attempt to evade arrest.
Advanced drone technology was deployed, which successfully located the suspects hiding within the vegetation. The real-time aerial intelligence enabled SAPS members and Sentinel Security Armed Response Officers to move directly to the suspects' location, resulting in the arrest of the suspects.
Further information regarding the whereabouts of the firearms believed to have been used during the robbery was obtained. A joint search operation was conducted by SAPS and stakeholders in the area.
During the operation, Sentinel Security Armed Response Officers alongside SAPS located and recovered two imitation firearms concealed within an informal dwelling.
The suspects and recovered firearms were handed over to SAPS for further investigation.
This successful operation highlights the value of effective collaboration between private security, law enforcement, and community structures in combating crime.
