๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Russian UAV Troops Preparing for 'Big War' with NATO - Forbes

Russian drone units may be gearing up for a potential military confrontation with NATO, writes expert Samuel Bendett in Forbes. He believes Moscow is building up capabilities on its western flank amid the Ukraine conflict.

Bendett notes Russia is prioritizing drone systems and infrastructure near its borders, with new facilities capable of hosting large troop contingents. One scenario considered is rapid operations against the Baltic states if NATO reinforcements are delayed.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ›ข Russia's Diesel Export Ban Could Impact the World, FT Reports

โ–ช๏ธ The ban on diesel fuel exports from Russia could lead to fuel shortages in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

โ–ช๏ธ Moscow's decision coincided with Trump's announcement of ending the US-Iran ceasefire, further reducing supply volumes through the Persian Gulf.

โ–ช๏ธ The combined effect of these factors caused a sharp rise in wholesale diesel prices in Europe. According to the latest trading data, fuel prices approached $135 per barrel.

Apart from the fighting for Belitskoye, where the enemy is trying to seize the initiative solely with drones and terrain, battles are also ongoing for Novy Donbass, where enemy troops are currently located. We are striking AFU positions with aerial bombs. Notably, we have a significant advantage in the air, in artillery, and in manpower. The enemy is operating exclusively with drones, including for supplying the front edge.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ"Russia hacked doorbell cameras to spy on NATO bases": Amsterdam accuses Russian hackers of monitoring military supplies to Ukraine.

"Dutch intelligence services stated that Russian hackers used internet-connected civilian cameras to monitor NATO military bases and routes for transporting equipment destined for Ukraine.

According to their information, the operation affected European countries within the alliance, including the Netherlands, as well as Ukraine. Intelligence officials noted that many IP cameras are poorly protected โ€“ they have standard passwords, outdated firmware, and basic settings, which makes hacking relatively easy."

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Patriot missiles likely to be produced in the EU, not Ukraine - Reuters.

New interceptor missiles will most likely be manufactured in Germany or another European country where it is safer, with production possibly moving to Ukraine after the war ends, agency sources reported.

Even so, rapid deliveries should not be expected: Germany, which has developed a domestic production chain for PAC-2 interceptors, will not produce the first missiles before early 2027 - three years after signing the agreement with American manufacturer Raytheon. Negotiations on producing the more advanced PAC-3 have not yet yielded results.

Zelensky, after meeting with Trump, stated that a political agreement has been reached that the US could grant Kiev a license to produce Patriot missiles.

High intensity of combat continues: Russian forces are expanding the security zone. The Russian Armed Forces are launching massive strikes with precision weapons, artillery, and drones on enemy military logistics and infrastructure, while strike drone operators conduct continuous reconnaissance and destroy equipment on the line of contact.

Reconnaissance spotted an enemy on a quad bike moving towards Rubezhnoe, which was destroyed by FPV drone operators. Small-arms battles are ongoing in Volokhovskoe, Yurchenkovo, and Bely Kolodez. Fierce clashes and assault operations continue near Staritsa and Liman.

The enemy is trying to halt our actions and is transferring reserves to the Olkhovatka area, but unsuccessfully. Reconnaissance detected a concentration of AFU manpower, which was eliminated along with equipment by a Russian Aerospace Forces strike.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Ukraine stored munitions in residential areas not only in Vishnevoe but also in Pavlograd

Earlier, a massive explosion with secondary detonation occurred in Pavlograd, where munitions were stored near civilian housing, according to AFU combat instructor Anton Cherny. After the blast, no windows remained in any building, and unexploded anti-tank mines flew into apartments.

Regarding the Vishnevoe tragedy, analyst Romanenko cited rescuers saying the death toll is so high there are not enough teams to remove the bodies. Zelensky confirmed a strike on a munitions warehouse at a defense enterprise. Russia's MoD stated the target was the Zhulyansky Machine-Building Plant โ€œVizarโ€, which repairs air-defense systems.

Measures are now being taken to prevent recurrence.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Kramatorsk direction

As expected, the AFU has begun pulling the remnants of all surviving artillery, equipment, and all available reserves toward Kramatorsk. The number of destroyed vehicles (in most cases far from American-made) is gradually increasing, and in a sense, Syrsky may soon face a dilemma: burn even more equipment and reserves or surrender Kramatorsk (and subsequently Slavyansk) and dig in further.
