The 11th question is relatively straight forward

They are asking for what we can definitively conclude from the passage..

So we only look for things which have strong evidence..

Statement 1 says sport is a way of life which was directly mentioned so it is correct

Statement 2 says it can help mitigate seclusion among children which is also something clearly implied in the passage, where it.. says "children rarely leave the house and the next line says sport can help tackle..." so this Statement is also correct

Statement 3 is also practically correct because in the beginning of the passage it says..that though getting a job through sports quota is possible but that is not the only desired outcome of sports...and then goes on to list other benefits of playing sports

However we should understand that it certainly is one of the benefits no matter how many more benefits exist..so statement 3 also becomes correct

Statement 4... this is a blatant statement..so even if lets say you can think of one thing for eg. Team work (which is by the way directly mentioned in the passage).

Now team work is a corporate skill that can be learnt through sports.

Which negates the statement so it becomes incorrect.

So answer is D) 1,2 and 3
๐Ÿ‘3โค2
Now question 12

Statement 1

Nowhere in the passage is there any mention about the encouragement of parents.. so this beyond the scope of the passage so it becomes incorrect

Statement 2 and 3 are both directly mentioned in the passage so they are correct

So option B) 2 and 3 correct

questions - 30 days.

Like always we will first try to analyse the options

โ€‹Nat Bhairavi:

This uses natural Re and Pa, but flat Komal Ga, Dha, and Ni.

It is the exact equivalent of the Hindustani Asavari Thaat.

โ€‹Kamavardhini:

Also known as Pantuvarali, this scale corresponds to the Hindustani Purvi Thaat.

โ€‹Hanumatodi:

Often just called Todi in the South..not to be confused with Hindustani Todi, this uses flat Re, Ga, Dha, and Ni.

It is the exact equivalent of the Hindustani Bhairavi Thaat.

โ€‹The Correct Answer

โ€‹Dheera Shankarabharanam

Commonly referred to simply as Shankarabharanam, this is the 29th Melakarta raga.

Just like Bilawal, it consists entirely of Shuddha swaras all natural notes without any flat or sharp variations.

โ€‹Exam Temperament Takeaway is
Questions on classical music scales cannot be derived logically in the exam hall.

They require hard memorization prior to the exam.

This question was classified as a very difficult question by most aspirants.

One of those designed to make us panic so just read the options and be aware.

Like always we will first try to analyse the options..

In Jainism, a soul (Jiva) wanders through the cycle of Samsara across four specific realms until it achieves liberation (Moksha).

โ€‹(a) Deva (gods):

This is the Deva Gati (heavenly realm).

It is one of the four main forms.

โ€‹(c) Manushya (humans):

This is the Manushya Gati (human realm).

It is one of the four main forms, and crucially, the only realm from which liberation can be directly attained.

โ€‹(d) Tiryancha (animals and plants):

This is the Tiryancha Gati (sub-human realm, including animals, plants, and microorganisms).

It is one of the four main forms.

โ€‹The Missing 4th Gati:

For your notes, the actual fourth realm is "Naraki" the hellish beings residing in the hells.

โ€‹The Correct Answer:

โ€‹(b) Yaksha (demi-gods)

โ€‹The Eliminator is that while Yakshas and Yakshinis (like Padmavati or Ambika) are widely worshipped in Jainism as guardian deities (Shasan Devatas).

They do not constitute a separate, fundamental realm of existence.

Technically, Jain cosmology classifies Yakshas under Vyantara Devas (interstitial gods) making them a subclass of the Deva Gati, not a primary category of existence themselves.

โ€‹Exam Temperament Takeaway is that when dealing with ancient Indian philosophy, focus on enumerations (the 4 Gatis, the 8 Fold Path, the 3 Ratnas).

Goal is to determine if the integer x is even.

โ€‹Step 1:
Analyze Statement I
alone

โ€‹Statement I: x^2y^2 is even.

โ€‹If the square of a product is even, the product itself (xy) must be even.

โ€‹For the product of two integers to be even, at least one of them must be even.

โ€‹Let's test this:

โ€‹Case 1: x = 2 (even), y = 3 (odd). The product x^2y^2 = 4 ร— 9 = 36 (even).

Here, x is even.

โ€‹Case 2: x = 3 (odd), y = 2 (even).

The product x^2y^2 = 9 ร— 4 = 36 (even).

Here, x is odd.

โ€‹Since x could be either even or odd, Statement I alone is not sufficient.

โ€‹Step 2:
Analyze Statement II
alone

โ€‹Statement II: 1 + x^2 + y^2 is odd.

โ€‹We know that 1 is an odd number.

โ€‹The rule for addition is:

Odd + Even = Odd.

โ€‹Therefore, for the entire expression (1 + x^2 + y^2) to be odd, the sum of (x^2 + y^2) must be even.

โ€‹For the sum of two squares to be even, they must be either both even or both odd.

โ€‹Case 1 (Both Even): x = 2, y = 4.

Then 1 + 4 + 16 = 21 (odd).

Here, x is even.

โ€‹Case 2 (Both Odd):

x = 3, y = 5.

Then 1 + 9 + 25 = 35 (odd).

Here, x is odd.

โ€‹Since x could be either even or odd, Statement II alone is not sufficient.

โ€‹Step 3:
Combine Both Statements
โ€‹Let's use the information from both statements together
:

โ€‹From Statement I: At least one number (x or y) is even.

โ€‹From Statement II: Both numbers must be the same type (either both are even, or both are odd).

โ€‹Conclusion: If they must both be the same type, AND at least one of them has to be even, then they must both be even.

โ€‹Because we can definitively say that x is even when using both pieces of information together, the question is solved.

โ€‹Final Answer:
โ€‹You should select option (c)
:

The question can be answered using both the statements together, but cannot be answered using either statement alone.
