Addressing manufacturing friction not just R&D spend to enable global scale and private sector innovation.

โ€‹๐—ž๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐——๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜€

โ€‹Symptom:
R&D spend is ~0.6% of GDP (China ~2.7%, Korea ~5%); private sector shares only 41% of R&D. India ranks 38th in GII.

โ€‹Historical Sequence:
Export manufacturing scale precedes R&D intensity, not vice versa (e.g., Korea's R&D crossed 2% only in 1995 after export take off).

Scale Asymmetry:
Domestic sales (e.g., Tata Nexon lifecycle ~1M units vs. RAV4 ~1.2M/yr) generate insufficient R&D budgets (โ‚น3,000 Cr vs. โ‚น90,000 Cr).

โ€‹Factor Frictions:
Input tariffs, cross subsidized high power tariffs, rigid labor laws, and logistics delays erode technological advantages.

โ€‹๐—ช๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ

โ€‹Establish city sized, globally competitive industrial clusters with zero input tariffs, lower power costs, and streamlined regulatory approvals matching Vietnam's speed.

This Diwali, while homes glow bright, we're thinking of you studying by lamplight.

You skipped celebrations for one more chapter and kept going when no one was watching. Your Diwali may have more notebooks than mithai right now, but every diya you light carries a promise: one day, your family will celebrate your name just as brightly.

So rest a little, call home, and come back stronger. You're not alone on this road.

Happy Diwali from all of us at Sleepy Classes. ๐Ÿช”

๐Ÿช” This Diwali, as diyas light up every home, we're thinking of the lamp burning late at your study table.

The early mornings, the festivals you've quietly skipped, and your dream of one day serving as an APFC โ€“ we see it all.

May this Diwali bring you clarity, courage and the strength to keep going.

Your dream deserves every bit of effort you're putting in. And we'll walk beside you until you achieve it. โค๏ธ
