✅ What it is:

- Wyspa Jana Zabawy-Wróblewskiego (earlier informally called Brysna) is a man-made island in Poland.

- Created as an eco-friendly solution for disposing of dredged sediment from a maritime deepening project.

- Unlike most artificial islands, it is completely closed to human activity and reserved for wildlife conservation.

✅ Location :

- Situated in the Szczecin Lagoon (Zalew Szczeciński) in the Baltic Sea region.

- Located near the town of Świnoujście in Poland.

✅ Key Features :

- Constructed using sand and silt dredged from the lagoon floor.

- Helps larger cargo ships access the Port of Szczecin.

- Contains:
Sandy landscapes
Shallow surrounding waters
An internal lake
Thousands of planted trees and shrubs

- Serves as a living laboratory for studying ecological succession (natural colonization of plants, insects, and birds).
