Day 25 Sleepy CSAT PYQ Series Today, we will be looking at a Quant Question. We alternate between RC, LR and Quant PYQs in this series. Try to solve it. Solutions will be provided later today.
Solution to Today's CSAT PYQ

Notice that every single number in this sequence is odd.

Also, notice the number 5 is sitting right there in the series.

Any odd number multiplied by 5 will always end in a 5.

Because there is absolutely no even number in this series to turn that 5 into a zero, the unit digit is mathematically guaranteed to be 5.

Option C is your answer.

Roughly how much of the Earth's excess global warming heat is absorbed by our oceans?
We are surviving on a silent thermal loan.

If the oceans hadn't absorbed our excess heat, the air we breathe would be a catastrophic 36ยฐC hotter today.

What major flaw in urban planning is directly blamed for shrinking open spaces and exhausting 4 to 5 hour daily commutes?
A city isn't truly developed when everyone owns a car.

It is developed when robust public infrastructure makes cars unnecessary.

Solution to CSAT PYQ

Question 3: (d)

โ€‹The central argument focuses on how an early and gradual transition minimizes disruption, making timing the crucial factor for green technology development.

โ€‹Question 4: (b) II only

โ€‹Statement I: Invalid.
The passage discusses path-dependence conceptually but never mentions specific nations like India or public finances. This extrapolates too far beyond the text.

โ€‹Statement II: Valid.
The author uses solar energy as the primary evidence to show that early efforts compound into lower costs. Assuming that an easier transition will occur if other technologies replicate this exact solar pattern is a reasonable inference based on the passage's logic.
