Good morning, radio friends :-)
We are organizing & updating our cross-platform network disability (recovery!) aid infrastructure, starting with radiostreams.
With support from courageous allies, survivors of human trafficking & invisible violence curate Intuitive Public Radio content to reach our colleagues with life-saving resourcing & provide learning opportunities for all who wish to prevent human trafficking.
This way we ensure safe, inclusive communities.
Check out today's updates to our current 24/7 schedule, Intuitive Public Radiostream Zero: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1glfQ91JLEPayH2Sv9LlytjZOSjR4ELtWGxdPx6zd3rQ • https://www.internet-radio.com/station/intuitive • https://Intuitive.pub/radiostream/zero • https://t.me/IntuitivePublicRadio/10127
'What all these myths are about is the core of all religion: birth-death-rebirth. The moon is the Goddess who dies and rises again. The fruit that produces itself out of itself, with the power of life over death. The moon dies, and then conquers darkness to rise again as the new moon, small at first but with energy within to recreate herself. The serpent sheds its skin and is reborn. The grain harvest—the daughter, the son as vegetation deity—dies, and is reborn in the spring. These are all the original, ancient, and matriarchal ideas of cyclic birth-death-and-resurrection—ideas many millennia older than the doctrines of Christianity, which simply coopted them, because of their universal resonance and power, and attributed them to a male God.
But, the first and ultimate world-saver is the female. The original resurrecting god is the moon. As the Moon Mother says, from the beginning of human time: “Tell them as I dying live, so they dying will live again.” –Monica Sjoo & Barbara Mor, The Great Cosmic Mother
COLLAPSE, MOTHER by Dawn Perez
All your life,
you’ve been told to hold it in.
Hold in your gut, woman,
Don’t let them think you’re fat.
Hold in your feelings, mother,
Don’t let them think you’re hysterical.
Hold in your worry, dear,
Don’t let them think you’re psychotic.
Hold in your grief, mama,
Don’t let them see the pain in your heart.
Hold in your rage, woman,
Don’t let them think you’re unrefined, wild, feral, magick.
When you hold it all inside you,
Do you feel empowered?
Or do you feel exhausted?
You don’t have to hold it in any longer, child,
I’m here.
You’re safe.
Give it up.
Let it out.
Release it.
Let it go.
Collapse, mother.
Cry your tears and let them
Permeate the earth with their healing power.
You gut,
Your feelings,
Your worry,
Your grief,
Your rage.
It’s all love, mother.
It’s a part of you.
Embrace it, allow it.
Breathe it in.
Let it go.
