Good news about HB 195 The Gold Bill, it will officially become law The governor can decide not to sign a bill, but as long as he doesn't veto it the bill will still become law.

Ana Benson chair of 49 at CPAC with Kimberly Fletcher!
I hosted a kickoff open house for Scott Fletcher tonight. He is running for Davis County Commissioner seat A. He is next to me.
Cox said he decided to veto H.B. 462 (https://le.utah.gov/Session/2026/bills/introduced/HB0462.pdf), School Bus Internet Access, over concerns that it would encourage children to spend more time on their devices, especially in rural Utah. The bill creates a grant program to distribute money to rural school districts for those districts to install internet access on a limited number of school buses.

Cox felt it would put kids on more screens and decided to veto it. I would say I agree. The reality is there would probably be very little homework and a whole lot of games happening.
I am at an appreciation dinner put on by Eagle Forum. Rep Ivory is talking about HB 195 the Gold Transactional bill. It actually died on the senate floor, but it was reconsidered and it passed the senate. It is now officially law.
Sen Balderree is talking about SB 90. Someone leaving the military with certain skills does not have to retrain for those same skills, like a military medic wouldn't need to go to training to be a paramedic. Great bill!
Nicholeen Peck ran a bill that requires an insurance company that pays for transitioning to also have to pay for detransitioning.
Rep Lisa Shepherd talked about her Secretary of State bill. It passed the house with 57 votes. Senator Brammer was the senate sponsor. It didn't pass the senate, but she will bring it back next session.
Rob Axson is talking about trying to overturn Prop 4. He said three million dollars come into the state to target one senate district to remove enough names to prevent the ability to overturn Prop 4. This has never been seen in the history of the state. This battle is about our Constitutional Republic. Rob said we have done so much work and ultimately we are petitioning heaven to help us.

Virtually everyone knows someone who became a victim

Surveys show that virtually everyone knows someone who was injured by a vaccine or by the COVID shots. Sadly, my oldest sister developed turbo cancer after the booster and died.

Pharmaceutical companies raked in hundreds of billions of dollars, knowing their products were killing people. Without the risk of legal liability, they cared only about the profits and not the people.

Congress has an opportunity to repeal those liability protections. Anyone who makes a product that causes injury should be held accountable. When the profits are not balanced by responsibility, people get hurt.

Several bills are pending in Congress to repeal the liability shield for vaccine makers. The “End the Vaccine Carveout Act” (HR 4668) and the “PREP Repeal Act” (HR 4388) will finally make Big Pharma accountable.
