High Priority Talking Point 4/27-5/9! Please send to legislators.

Please take a look at this article KSL did about Public Infrastructure Districts (PIDs).

PIDs allow developers to move their costs of doing business onto the homeowners. PIDs also allow developers to transfer the cost of PRIVATELY owned buildings onto homeowners as long as it is in the governing documents. This must be stopped.

Look at definition 14(a)(c) in the code below.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is nothing more than blantant discrimination. Anytime something is gained or denied based on skin color this is racism.

This is what should be happening in Utah!

NCSBE: 34,000 Deceased Voters Found Through SAVE Initiative
RALEIGH — The North Carolina Republican Party (NCGOP) commends the ongoing efforts by the North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE) to maintain accurate and up-to-date voter rolls. Today, the NCSBE announced that 34,000 deceased voters were identified through a comprehensive data comparison with the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database.
NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons said of the announcement:
"Today's announcement makes clear the State Board is taking concerns about election integrity seriously. When concerns over deceased voters have been made previously, they were promptly ignored when partisan Democrats controlled the Board. It is refreshing to see Director Hayes and the Board's current leadership take a proactive approach to confirm only North Carolina citizens can vote in North Carolina elections."

This is exactly why we are warning Utah citizens about Public Infrastructure Districts!

Don Brown and his wife bought a studio apartment at the exclusive Black Desert resort community outside St. George. But it wasn't until the night before he signed the closing documents that he saw an added property tax he wasn't expecting. For a roughly 1,500-square-foot unit, he expected to pay property taxes of around $2,000 a year. Instead, his bill was over $10,000.

Big ruling from the Supreme Court!

The Supreme Court struck down Louisiana’s congressional map on Wednesday and sharply limited the use of race in drawing district boundaries in a major ruling that could carry significant consequences for future House elections.

At the state GOP convention, Sen. Dan McCay, R-Riverton, finds himself in a primary against Rep. Doug Fiefia, R-Herriman, after barely surviving a delegate vote Saturday morning. Fiefia won nearly 59% of the delegate vote, coming up short of the 60% threshold that would have ended McCay's reelection bid.

I can't believe how close it was. Please remember Sen Dan McKay ran the bill that created Public Infrastructure Districts in Utah. This was a travesty for our Constitutional Republic and the tax payer.
I am so grateful for Judicial Watch. Clean voter rolls are essential for election integrity. It is much harder to commit election fraud with clean voter rolls.

“This is another historic election integrity success. Judicial Watch’s lawsuit caused Oregon to finally cleanup 800,000 outdated voter names, adding to the more than six million ineligible voters removed by Judicial Watch lawsuits and legal action nationwide,” said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch.

Republicans have been cheated multiple seats from election fraud and the census that counted massive numbers of illegals. Great job Gov DeSantis!

Josiah Bartlett was one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. He and his wife, Mary Barton, had a dozen children. He wrote, "The time is now at hand when we shall see whether America has virtue enough to be free or not." His voice was loud as he practically shouted his vote for Independence making the rafters shake!
"At the end of 2025 the state's total debt obligation was 1.1 billion, but public infrastructure districts were carrying 3.8 billion in debt obligations from bonds issued."

Who pays the bonds for PIDs? It is the citizens. It is the homeowners in those areas. These "financing tools" are being used under the guise to help with affordable housing. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

This is the battle we face. As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence a battle rages over the premise of the document. Do our rights come from God? Do ALL people have unalienable rights? The answer is unequivocally YES!! We will never stop fighting for these truths.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is being praised nationwide for dropping this TRUTH on leftism and "progressivism"

"Progressivism seeks to replace the basic premises of the Declaration of Independence, and hence our form of government. It holds that our rights and our dignities come not from God, but from government."

You NAILED IT, Justice Thomas! 🇺🇸

This guy is the true GOAT.

The repercussions of this are huge!

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said Thursday that the DOJ will enforce the Supreme Court of the United States decision in every state where racially drawn districts are identified, expanding the impact of this week’s blockbuster ruling beyond.

Contact these commissioners! This financing tool is tax increment financing. It allows 80% of the growth in taxes to go to the developer instead of the town, county, and school district. This is another developer special privilege passed through the legislature that is a bad deal for tax payers. This needs to be stopped!

On Monday April 27, about 80 people packed the Box Elder County Courthouse at 10 am to oppose the Box Elder County "Stratos" data center project. Commissioners — who said they learned about this project only weeks ago — delayed the vote one week.

That's you. That's what showing up, calling and emailing does.

The new vote is Monday May 4 at 4:00 p.m. The location has moved to accommodate the expected crowd:

📍 Box Elder County Fairgrounds — Fine Arts Building 320 North 1000 West, Tremonton, Utah 84337

So far there's been no water study, no environmental review and 80% of property taxes go back to the developer for 30 years.

Email commissioners today. Boyd Bingham: bbingham@boxeldercountyut.gov Lee Perry: lbperry@boxeldercountyut.gov Tyler Vincent: tvincent@boxeldercountyut.gov Phone: 435-734-3347
It is our amazing Nick's seventeen birthday. Mike took him to the hockey playoff game.
I had the pleasure of making a video about moral and ethical government with Scott Fletcher and Pastor Beickel. Both of them are great men!
Please join our citizen Zoom call on Monday. All citizens are invited. Phil Lyman has a very interesting story about what a whistle blower sent him and how it impacted his court case.

"President Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal exploded national government size and scope and the states lost. National spending as a share of the gross national product grew from 3.7% in 1930 to 9.1% in 1940."

We must remember that to maintain our liberties we must constantly fight the expansion of the federal government. It has certain responsibilities defined in the Constitution. Everything else belongs to the states.
