Fact about MIDA

MIDA has an appointed board and can issue taxes. Some of the appointed board members are elected officials, but they were not elected to represent MIDA. In a Constitutional Republic policy decisions need to be directly tied to elected representation. An appointed board should never be able to issue taxation.
Another point to consider about MIDA is the people have absolutely no recourse if they are unhappy about a decision because MIDA is its own insulated government. The people cannot do referendums as we saw in Box Elder County regarding the data center because the laws under which the counties and cities operate do not apply to MIDA. This is a complete carve out of our form of government. This erodes the power of the people.
This study found that only 14% of those that tested positive for covid using the PCR testing were actually positive. Even the testing was part of the corruption.

The principal finding from our analysis of ALM data on both nucleic acid amplification (PCR from mucosal swabs) and IgG antibody (serological) testing for SARS-CoV-2 in Germany between mid-March 2020 and summer 2021 is this: only 14%—and possibly even fewer, down to 10%—of individuals identified as SARS-CoV-2-positive via PCR testing were actually infected, as evidenced by detectable IgG antibodies.

I went to Costco and they had Halloween stuff out. It was fun to look at it. It makes me miss my Will because he loves Halloween things.
I don't like gruesome things so this is more what I like.
I have always supported vaccines. I majored in microbiology which is the study of viruses and bacteria, but the covid shot was nothing like previous vaccines. I am definitely more leery now about all vaccines because the pharmaceutical companies are focusing on money. You can't trust an entity that is testing something they stand to make a huge amount of money from. The harm the covid shot has caused is heartbreaking.

Talking Point 8/5 - 8/15! Please send to Utah legislators.

The Fifth Circuit recently ruled that federal law prevents states from providing in-state tuition benefits to illegal immigrants in United States v. Texas (July 9, 2026) unless all U.S. citizens receive the same benefit. This is happening in Utah in statute 53H-11-203. This needs to be corrected.

I met with the auditor's office on Monday. She has jurisdiction over public infrastructure districts. Tina Cannon presented at my Fall Impact Conference last October. The total PID debt was just over 4 billion then. On Monday I was informed the PID debt that the citizens will be paying for is now almost 5.3 billion. This is putting Utah in a tenuous economic situation. We must have success this session to reign this in. I stand for the Utah tax payer. Public Infrastructure Districts are a very bad deal for us.
That is pretty scary that the city didn't know who installed that. Our fourth amendment rights are still fully in place with the advancement of technology. We can't have freedom without privacy.

A Flock automated license plate reader was recently discovered on Millcreek city property. City leaders say they did not authorize its installation and do not know who did.

We went to Lagoon. We ended on the Title Wave and we were the only people in the ride. It was fun!
This bill from the 2021 session was integral in bringing corruption and the misuse of tax dollars in regard to MIDA.
In the description of the bill it says it modifies a definition related to public infrastructure. What was the modification? The definition of infrastructure was changed to include buildings that "are privately owned; and (ii) provide a substantial benefit, as determined by the board..." This allowed developers to roll private assets into the public infrastructure bonds that the citizens have to repay. This can include golf courses, business buildings, an equestrian center etc. This is what must be changed in the 2027 session.
