🎼22 June 1961. Happy 60th Birthday 🥳🍾 to Jimmy Sommerville, born James William Somerville in Greenock, a small town in Scotland.
Thanks to his distinctive falsetto voice, he was a protagonist of 1980s pop music first with Bronski Beat, then with Communards, later as a solo artist.
His most famous hit became an anthem for all smalltown boys of the 80s who leaved for the city... and still sounds great! 👍🔝 #JimmySommerville #22June

⛱ #SundayChillOut 😎
I don't like re-posting songs and generally I do not... but I discovered this guy just turned 85 (!!!) last week. I must confess I had not a clue about his age 😳
Kris Kristofferson (born on 22 June 1936 in Brownsville, Texas, USA) actor, musician and above all songwriter (he wrote hundreds of successful songs for fellow singers and bands) is a true living legend, having crossed and lived as protagonist all the main decades of contemporary music and cinema!!!
