Mayhem
📀 De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
#BlackMetal
30 years ago Mayhem from #Norway released their debut studio album.
Mayhem started to work on this album in 1987 and everything about it and them became dramatic, evil and legendary in the years.
The 1991 suicide of vocalist #Dead (author of most lyrics), the 1993 murder of guitarist Euronymous by bassist and 👉 Burzum mastermind Varg Vikernes "Count Grishnackh" who spent the following 15 years in jail (the both were planning to burn Trondheim Catholic Church that is pictured on the front cover☝️)...
As a result De Mysteriis... came out with only drummer Hellhammer and Hungarian evil vocalist Attila Csihar as active members, it's the only #Mayhem release in the 1990s and is unanimously considered the most influential and iconic album in Black Metal genre!
Cursed🤘
In this album:
#AttilaCsihar – vocals
#Euronymous – guitar
#CountGrishnackh – bass
#Hellhammer – drums
