🦾 Development & Progress Update🦾
We're excited to share that development is well underway, with multiple areas already showing significant progress!
🦾 DevOps tasks are about to kick off, laying the foundation for smooth operations.
🦾 Discovery efforts are in full swing, ensuring we stay on course as we build.
We've identified a bug in the logic where some areas of VIP missed proper penalization in some user paths. Rest assured, this issue has been noted, and we’re addressing it. The penalties have been calculated, and tokens are securely held in a Stash Account, with plans in place to move them to the Treasury.
🏗 Development Updates 🏗
🦾 Our Business Analyst has been hard at work on documentation, outlining key features, tasks, and processes, which are now starting to take shape.
🦾 Our DevOps Engineer is gearing up to handle DevOps updates and will begin by preparing Github for the open-source transition.
🦾 We're moving forward with the COMPLiQ split from Vitreus accounts and organizing the DevNet Cluster—nodes, backend, telemetry, and explorer are all in scope. We'll migrate before deleting the cluster, to lean out some of our infrastructure overhead.
⚙️ Blockchain Updates ⚙️
🦾 A runtime update was completed earlier this week, please see: https://t.me/VitreusChain/326
🦾 Alongside that, we have updates to the RPC elements of our nodes.
🦾 We've noted open issues in the Substrate/Polkadot libraries and will be resolving these on our end so we can continue moving forward..

From the CMO's Desk: Recap of the Week and a Look Ahead
As we wrap up another productive week, I want to highlight the exciting progress we've made and give you a glimpse of what’s on the horizon for Vitreus. We are actively positioning Vitreus as a disruptor in the Layer-0 space through new collaborations and impactful marketing initiatives.
wVTRS Listing on MEXC Global
One of the key highlights this week is our collaboration with MEXC Global’s social media team. We’ve worked together to set up an X Space scheduled for this coming Monday, which will feature Chad. Chad will tackle five predetermined questions, covering everything from wVTRS’s utility to our broader vision, before diving into live interactions with both the Vitreus and MEXC Global communities. This is a major step forward as we build excitement around our wVTRS listing and ensure global accessibility for traders and investors.
Unlocking Insights with Social Listening
In an exciting new development, Jaren and I have chosen a social listening tool that will be fully operational next week: Mentionlytics. This platform will enable us to capture valuable insights from targeted, ongoing online conversations. By tapping into these discussions, we’ll share marketing collateral that addresses their needs while raising awareness about how Vitreus can solve key challenges, as well as their own, in the blockchain space.
@everyone
Fresh Content and SEO Optimization
Our content pipeline continues to grow, and I’m pleased to announce the creation of several high-impact pieces this week. "Enhancing Real-Time Tracking and Transparency with Vitreus’ Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN)," a comprehensive supply chain management use case, stands out. Additionally, we’ve produced three new blogs: one on Vitreus' focus on security and decentralization, another on Building Big on a Small Budget, and a third exploring how the wVTRS listing on MEXC Global enhances global accessibility and trading strategies.
On top of that, we expect to finalize our web development updates by Tuesday. This will enable us to publish these pieces in an SEO-optimized format, amplifying their visibility online. From there, we’ll distribute them through social media and our new social listening tool to reach the right audience at the right time.
Video Production in Full Swing
We prioritize video content, and I'm excited to announce that we sent out the structure and script for nine Vitreus explainer videos for voice-over recording this week. Each of these videos will highlight a specific differentiator that sets Vitreus apart in the Layer-0 space. Once complete, we’ll follow this up with a deep-dive video series featuring our CTO, who will break down the technical intricacies behind each of these differentiators. These will serve as powerful tools in educating and engaging both developers and potential investors.
Ambassador and Referral Program in the Works
Finally, we’ve been diligently at work crafting an ambassador and referral program to incentivize our community. This initiative will allow our most passionate followers to become brand ambassadors, helping to spread the word about Vitreus while earning rewards. It’s a win-win that will strengthen our community and extend our reach into new markets.
That’s a quick snapshot of our week here at Vitreus. As we continue to build momentum, stay tuned for more exciting updates. We’re just getting started!

NEW PARTNER CUSTOMER ALERT!!
COMPLiQ is pleased to announce that its FIRST customer has been signed!!
As a 90-day Proof of Concept (POC) agreement, this contract type defines success criteria that is required to be met for it to convert into a paying Master Service Agreement (MSA).
Additionally, this American Big 10 University member is particularly powerful for us as an advocate for a new Responsible AI on University Campuses campaign nationwide — and maybe someday even global.

From the CMO's Desk: Recap of the Week and a Look Ahead
This past week has been a pivotal one for Vitreus, highlighted by the successful listing of our wVTRS token on the MEXC Global crypto exchange. Our marketing department worked closely with MEXC to orchestrate the launch, culminating in the impactful X Space last Monday. Co-hosted by MEXC Global and Vitreus, this event featured a standout contribution from Taylor, our CTO. His insights reinforced our position as a trusted, transparent project in the competitive Web3 space. This showcase not only solidified our offering but also enhanced the community’s confidence in the principles we stand by—trust and transparency, which are paramount today.
In addition to this, we have been working diligently on content production, creating three new high-impact assets. We have developed a comprehensive use case about how Vitreus powers the management of decentralized infrastructures for connected devices, focusing on IoT and smart cities, alongside a compelling videographic detailing how Vitreus lowers development costs for Web3 builders. We have also finished our blog post, "The End of Gas Wars: How Vitreus Enables High Throughput Without Compromise for Early-Stage Web3 Developers." We are currently packaging and preparing these assets for distribution on our website to increase awareness and engagement.
This coming Monday, Jaren and I will launch a new brand awareness campaign using Mentionlytics, our recently acquired social listening tool. This tool will enable us to track where Web3 developers are expressing frustrations and engage them with tailored content showcasing the benefits of our Layer-0 platform. We are also finalizing our first ambassadorship program and have already shared it with the vMarketing committee on Discord for their feedback.
And guess what? Our X follower base has grown by 5% week-over-week—a strong indicator of Vitreus’ growing influence and the success of all our outreach efforts across departments.

Development & Progress Update #67
Exciting developments over the past week as we made strides in several key areas!
Blockchain Updates
Local runtime testing is underway.
Dev machines are up, and we’re searching for issues before moving forward.
A successful testnet push is expected before next week, with a stagenet to mainnet transition following thereafter if no issues arise.

⚠️ RUNTIME UPDATE INCOMING ⚠️
Hello @everyone,
🎉 We're happy to announce that the development team is confident they have cleansed Vitreus of the troubles from dependencies & BEEFY's introduced.
🌐 Mainnet will be updated 25 OCTOBER 2024 between 8am and 11am EST.
While the application of code doesn't take long there are a lot of moving parts involved.
During this time we need to:
- update Mainnet itself
- update the vNode backend
- push the updates to the vNodes
- push a vApp update after the runtime
There is a sequence to these things. During a ⏳ 5 HOUR ⌛ period, we will have the bridge shutdown. The relayers will be off and the UI will not be able to be used.
Furthermore, the current vApp will not work with the new runtime due to metadata updates, which will need to acquire and push the updated version to the app stores for approval. ⏳
As such, there will be a brief lapse in users ability to interact with the blockhain while the vApp is being approved by Apple🍏 & Google👾
This is an exciting time for Vitreus🦾 as it carves our way forward, ensuring we move towards open-source with a sound foundation. 🎉
Thank you for your support and patience

From the CMO's Desk: Recap of the Week and a Look Ahead
This week has been filled with excitement, and here's what made it so:
Content Development and SEO Optimization
To enhance Vitreus' online presence and engage Web3 developers, several SEO-driven content pieces have been launched:
New Use Case Publication: This week, we published our third use case, "Managing Peer-to-Peer Energy Trading from Renewable Sources Using Vitreus’ DePIN and VTRS Tokens." This case study focuses on decentralized energy grids, a key application area in today’s energy landscape, as exemplified by Texas' recent milestone of producing more renewable energy than fossil fuels. Through this publication, we aim to inspire Web3 developers to leverage Vitreus for innovation in the decentralized energy sector. 🔗 Click here
Video on Vitreus' Dual-Token System: A new video has been released that explains the workings of VTRS and VNRG, Vitreus’ dual-token system. The video provides insights into how these tokens drive the ecosystem's functionality and value. 🔗 Click here
Upcoming Blog Post: Later today, our sixth blog, titled "Bridging Blockchain Silos: How Vitreus Unlocks Interoperability for Early-Stage Web3 Developers," will be published. This blog continues to build on our narrative, emphasizing the unique value Vitreus brings to Web3 development.
Social Listening and Targeted Engagement
Our recent integration of Mentionlytics—a social listening tool—has enabled us to refine our engagement strategies across key platforms. Key actions include:
• Monitoring and Keyword Optimization: Initially, we used broad keywords to track conversations on X and Reddit. However, through continuous refinement, we’ve honed in on discussions involving Web3 developers, particularly those facing project challenges. This adjustment ensures we focus on conversations where our content and solutions are most relevant.
• Content Distribution: Once we identify high-potential discussions, we strategically push tailored content to developers, guiding them toward Vitreus as a solution to their pain points. This approach increases visibility and aligns our value proposition with the developers’ specific needs.
Developer Resources and Strategy Adjustment
The accelerated availability of developer documentation presents new opportunities to reach and support Web3 developers effectively. As a result, we are implementing the following adjustments:
Website Refinement: Efforts are underway to restructure our website to be more developer-centric. This involves tailoring the interface and content to directly address developers' challenges, making the website a more effective resource.
X Spaces Series: A series of X Spaces will be organized to engage developers with weekly updates on Vitreus’ latest resources, tools, and features, creating an ongoing dialogue.
Investor and Project Outreach: Our outreach efforts are also expanding to Web3 investors, blockchain projects, and incubators. These interactions aim to showcase the distinct advantages Vitreus offers, positioning the platform as an ideal choice for blockchain innovation. Notable hashtags like #NoMoreGasWars and #PolkadotButBetter are in circulation, underscoring Vitreus’ unique selling points.
Ambassador Program Launch
The Ambassador Program is almost finalized and will launch within the next two weeks. This program will play a pivotal role in growing the community and raising brand awareness through ambassadors rewarded with PHI. As passionate advocates for Vitreus, these ambassadors will help amplify our message and expand our community reach.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

From the CMO's Desk: Recap of the Week and a Look Ahead
October has officially wrapped up, and it’s exciting to share that our initial metrics reveal strong strides toward our ambitious 2025 goals. In a short time, we’re already seeing Vitreus’ media coverage stacking up with nearly 8% earned media share of voice in the Substrate-based layer-0 chains space, a major leap against our 1.5% target by end of 2025. This uptick is partly due to the buzz surrounding our wVTRS listing on MEXC Global. Organic SEO is beginning to take root, bringing in 12.43% of our total traffic (on our way to a 35% goal by this time next year), and our engaged session rate hit 60%, far surpassing the standard, with our own metrics setting a high bar—sessions here last over two minutes and cover multiple pages. Meanwhile, our social media engagement is a standout, coming in at 10.23% on X and LinkedIn—significantly higher than the 3.5% benchmark for Web3 brands. Two words: Jaren rocks!
This week, we focused on enhancing our web presence with a new Vitreus site iteration. While the current site served its purpose well, the redesign shifts focus to developers, making it an all-in-one destination where they can explore Vitreus technology and see how building on the Vitreus Chain can power their Web3 aspirations. Stay tuned for updates on the release date.
We also released two compelling blogs, "No More Trade-offs: Achieve High Performance and Decentralization with Vitreus Layer-0" and "Decentralization at the Core: How Vitreus Empowers Developers through Layer-0 Governance," along with our fourth use case on carbon credits. Each piece is part of our ongoing push to drive organic traffic and engage the Web3 community with meaningful insights.
Looking ahead, the team will continue content development, collaborating closely with Taylor and his team as we prepare to unveil the dev docs, the new website, and game-changing additions to the Vitreus ecosystem. October was only the beginning—November promises even more progress.

NEW PARTNER CUSTOMER ALERT!!
COMPLiQ is pleased to announce that a new customer has been signed!
This is a 90-day Proof of Concept (POC) agreement, which sets specific success criteria that need to be met for it to transition into a paid Master Service Agreement (MSA).
The new COMPLiQ customer operates in the Financial Services sector and addresses a major use case in SEC AI compliance, CoPilot integration, and AI logging/record retention compliance.
Why does this matter to VTRS holders?
- More iQ customers = more🦾 VITREUS transactions = more VNRG consumed = more VTRS bought
It’s a good day. Let’s go!

Exciting News!
We’re thrilled to announce our 45-day “Vitreus is Builder Ready” soft launch, kicking off November 18! This initiative is designed to build excitement and attract Web3 developers to start their journey with Vitreus.
With our website in the midst of a developer-friendly redesign, we’ll be releasing development documentation exclusively on Discord, giving early access to Web3 developers to connect directly with our dev team and the entire Vitreus community.

🦾 Development & Progress
Despite some challenges, the team has persevered with improvements and key milestones across multiple fronts. We’re on the brink of another massive milestone for Vitreus - OPEN SOURCE! 🥳
Notable Progression
📰 Clear Node Data Button: Testing underway and optimistic for delivery soon!
⚡️ Multiple Account Management: After this new button for vNodes, the long awaited feature is the next development priority.
📣 Website: The Vitreus website is being worked on to support the changes required for supporting incoming builders.
🌉 Bridge Options: Six options under review, with Axelar emerging as a strong contender. I have reached out to these providers to engage further. More to come…
🔍 Ongoing Analysis: Gwei values on Ethereum are well above the 12.5 gwei threshold and other options are being considered.
🧑💻 Faucet Management: Small challenges with EVM integration on Vitreus and Ethereum-based smart contracts, due to gVolts, is under active investigation underway, but doesn’t stop Builder Ready.
📑 Validator Documentation: A clear set of documentation will be made for becoming a validator as open-source means fair game! Users will be able to use Docker or Github to become node operators!
📚 Dynamic VNRG: Simplified formulas prepared. Working on endgame simulations to properly ensure scaling and essence is captured.
👉 Simplification Through Partnerships: Exploration of vendors for various interaction points is underway to improve our audience and capacity.
