▪️Unfortunately yes. We don’t know the reason of such behavior, somebody say it’s a fear, somebody will propose it is a greed, but everyone will agree that banks and #cryptocurrencies are not related as much as we want to.
▪️Some countries are more progressive, like Estonia or Japan, but some other are simply afraid of progress. For example on January 13, the Bank of Indonesia issued a press release advising citizens to abandon the sale, purchase and trading of crypto-currencies, and recalls that #virtual currencies are not legalized in Indonesia. In September last year, the Bank of Indonesia once again confirmed that it does not intend to make bitcoin a payment facility, after which two Indonesian currency exchange exchanges BitBayar and TokoBitcoin voluntarily ceased to work.
▪️Explaining the reasons for the unleashed campaign against the #Crypto-currency, in a recent press release, the bank cites concerns about their potential role in money laundering and terrorist financing:
▪️"Virtual currencies risk becoming speculative bubbles. Potentially, they can be used for money laundering and terrorist financing, which will lead to undermining stability of the financial system and serious damage to society."
▪️And what do we think about it? We understand the fear of Indonesian government, but we also understand simple people, who want to use cryptocurrencies in every-day life, pay with it for the medical management or for the drinks in bar.

🔶Crypto-currencies had already taken their place in the hearts of the mass consumer, but for the time being they still have the image of #digital #money "for programmers and freaks." The wider adoption of #virtual coins can be facilitated by their adoption by the banking system.
🔶Some impressionable citizens still make their decisions upon rumors and speculations about this #currency than sober analysts. The circulation of many #cryptocurrencies is limited, because not all the services available in the #banking environment. Ordinary consumers do not use bitcoin always and everywhere, for everyday transactions, because banks and cryptocurrencies are still on opposite sides of the barricades.
🔶Traditional financial institutions are still indifferent to the #blockchain. With rare exceptions. It is the technology that gives strength to virtual money, feeds #bitcoin and some other crypto-currencies.
🔶It would seem that credit institutions are most interested in the rapid processing of transactions on the basis of a distributed book of transactions in the #network. But they are silent, only indirect recognition of the blockchain appears from time to time: many #banks are trying to invest in their own technologies of this kind.
🔶If you believe the research conducted by #IBM, that 33% of financial organizations are actively studying the blockchain. The IBM company has concluded a contract with seven largest European banks for the development of crypto-currency based on this development.
🔶Without a clear regulation and framework of crypto-activity, investors and businessmen show distrust of crypto-currencies and related activities.
🔶The #WorldBitBank project wants to change the situation for better. Our banking system would provide all the bank services for #cryptocurrencies as well as safety keeping. There no longer would be a problem to invest in #cryptocurrencies, or pay with them and even make some kind of deposit. For more information please follow the link https://wbb.io/
