FED'S MUSALEM CALLS FOR INTEREST RATE HIKE SOON AS INFLATION RISKS PERSIST
Fed official Alberto Musalem says the Federal Reserve will need to raise interest rates again "soon" to restore price stability.
πΈ Inflation remains too high, with risks still tilted toward further increases.
πΈ Monetary policy and financial conditions remain accommodative, despite modest tightening.
πΈ The US economy and labor market remain strong, providing room for additional tightening.
Musalem argues that raising rates sooner and gradually would reduce the risk of more disruptive increases later.

$ANT - ANTHROPIC FACES JUNK CREDIT RATING RISK DESPITE PLANNED MEGA-IPO
Blackstone has warned investors that Anthropic may receive a below-investment-grade credit rating following its IPO, reversing earlier expectations, according to the Financial Times.
The AI company is reportedly expected to receive a BB-range rating, potentially raising borrowing costs and limiting access to institutional capital.

PAKISTAN CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC ABOUT US-IRAN PEACE TALKS
Pakistan's military says it is "cautiously optimistic" about mediation efforts between the US and Iran, following another high-level diplomatic visit to Tehran.
Army chief Asim Munir visited Iran twice in October, most recently alongside senior Saudi and Turkish officials, suggesting potential progress toward de-escalation.
Pakistan also confirmed that its joint defence pact with Saudi Arabia and Turkey remains open to additional members, potentially including Iran, subject to political approval.
However, military officials warned that powerful opponents of a settlement remain, without identifying them.
