The Embassy of Finland in Addis Ababa is seeking a motivated and proactive trainee for a six months fixed-term position starting in June 2026. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience in Finland's foreign policy, development cooperation, and multilateral engagement, particularly with the African Union.
Key Responsibilities
โข The selected candidate will support the Embassyโs staff in a wide range of duties and gain familiarity with the full scope of the Embassyโs work.

After conducting a FAST stroke awareness survey with 250+ responses, we found that many students and community members have not received proper stroke awareness education, while many are interested in learning more.
To help create impact through health advocacy, FHI Ethiopia is now recruiting volunteers for a 2-week Stroke Awareness Campaign. Volunteers will conduct awareness campaigns in schools or communities of their choice, with bookmark templates and campaign materials provided by us.

We are looking for a ๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ to join our team in Addis Ababa: someone precise with numbers, grounded in integrity, and driven by purpose.
You will manage, donor reporting, and compliance, and help build the financial systems that let our programs deliver real impact.

A degree in Accounting or Finance, at least two years of relevant experience in NGO, solid knowledge of Ethiopian tax and reporting requirements, and a genuine belief in youth-led change.
