සංචාරක අමාත්‍යාංශයට අදාළ 2027 අයවැය යෝජනා පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡාවකට අද (28) පස්වරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේදී එක්වීමි.

සුවිශේෂී සංචාරක ගමනාන්තයක් ලෙස ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ජාත්‍යන්තරය හමුවේ ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීමේ විභවතාව සහ ඒ සඳහා යෝජිත ව්‍යාපෘති සහ උපායමාර්ගික පියවර පිළිබඳව මෙහිදී පුළුල් ලෙස සාකච්ඡා කළ අතර, සංචාරක කර්මාන්තය ආශ්‍රිත ව්‍යවසායකත්වය ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා අධ්‍යාපන සහ පුහුණු අවස්ථා පුළුල් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහන් කෙරෙහිද අවධානය යොමු කළෙමි.

சுற்றுலா அமைச்சின் 2027 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான வரவு செலவுத்திட்ட முன்மொழிவுகள் தொடர்பான கலந்துரையாடலில் இன்று (28) பிற்பகல் ஜனாதிபதி அலுவலகத்தில் பங்கேற்றேன்.

சிறப்புமிக்க சுற்றுலாத் தலமாக இலங்கையை சர்வதேச அளவில் மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான சாத்தியக்கூறுகள், அதற்காக முன்மொழியப்பட்ட திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் மூலோபாய நடவடிக்கைகள் குறித்து இதன்போது விரிவாகக் கலந்துரையாடப்பட்டதுடன், சுற்றுலாத்துறை சார்ந்த தொழில்திறனை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக கல்வி மற்றும் பயிற்சி வாய்ப்புகளை விரிவுபடுத்துவதற்கான திட்டங்கள் குறித்தும் கவனம் செலுத்தினேன்.

I participated in a discussion at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (28) on the 2027 budget proposals relating to the Ministry of Tourism.

The discussion focused extensively on Sri Lanka’s potential to be promoted internationally as a distinctive tourism destination, along with proposed projects and strategic measures to achieve this. I also focused on programmes to expand educational and training opportunities to promote entrepreneurship in the tourism industry.

මාධ්‍ය ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ උන්නතිය, දැනුම සහ අත්දැකීම් හුවමාරුව මෙන්ම, කලාපීය සහයෝගිතාව ශක්තිමත් කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් මෙම සමුළුව ලබා දෙන දායකත්වය අගය කරමින්, මෙවැනි දැවැන්ත ජාත්‍යන්තර සමුළුවක් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේදී සාර්ථකව සංවිධානය කිරීමට කැපවූ සියලුම පාර්ශ්වයන් වෙත මාගේ හෘදයාංගම ස්තූතිය පළ කළෙමි.

ஊடகத் துறையின் வளர்ச்சி, அறிவு மற்றும் அனுபவப் பகிர்வு மற்றும் பிராந்திய ஒத்துழைப்பை வலுப்படுத்துவதற்கு இந்த மாநாடு அளிக்கும் பங்களிப்பைப் பாராட்டியதுடன், இத்தகைய பிரம்மாண்டமான சர்வதேச மாநாட்டை இலங்கையில் வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்துவதற்கு அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயற்பட்ட அனைத்துத் தரப்பினருக்கும் எனது மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொண்டேன்.

I attended the opening ceremony of the 63rd General Assembly of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), held in Colombo this morning (01).

Appreciating the contribution of this conference towards the advancement of the media industry, the exchange of knowledge and experience and the strengthening of regional cooperation, I extended my heartfelt gratitude to all those who worked towards the successful organisation of this major international conference in Sri Lanka.

සෞඛ්‍ය සහ ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය යටතේ පවතින හෙද විදුහල්වල තුන් අවුරුදු උසස් ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව හැදෑරූ 2020 ශිෂ්‍ය හෙද කණ්ඩායමේ අභ්‍යාසලාභීන් 2,819 දෙනෙකු තුන්වන ශ්‍රේණියේ හෙද නිලධාරීන් ලෙස බඳවා ගැනීමේ පත්වීම් ලිපි ප්‍රදානය කිරීමේ අවස්ථාවට අද (01) පෙරවරුවේ අරලියගහ මන්දිරයේදී එක්වීමි.

එමෙන්ම, රෝහල් සේවයේ නිරත පළමු ශ්‍රේණියේ හෙද නිලධාරීන් 76 දෙනෙකු විශේෂ ශ්‍රේණියේ හෙද නිලධාරීන් ලෙස උසස් කිරීමට අදාළ උසස්වීම් ලිපි ප්‍රදානය කිරීම ද මෙහිදී සිදු කෙරිණි.

දිනෙන් දින පුළුල් වන සෞඛ්‍ය සේවාවන්හි අවශ්‍යතා සැලකිල්ලට ගනිමින්, ජනතාවට ගුණාත්මක සෞඛ්‍ය සේවාවක් සැපයීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය මානව සම්පත සපුරාලීම මෙන්ම හෙද සේවාව තුළ පවතින පුරප්පාඩු සංඛ්‍යාව අවම කිරීම සඳහා මෙම නව පත්වීම් ලබාදීමට හැකිවීම සුවිශේෂී අවස්ථාවක් ලෙස සලකමි.

මෙරට නිදහස් සෞඛ්‍ය සේවාව තවදුරටත් ශක්තිමත් කරමින් ජනතාවට ප්‍රශස්ත සේවාවක් ඉටු කිරීම සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා හෙද සේවයට එක්වන නවක හෙද නිලධාරීන් සියලු දෙනාටත්, උසස්වීම් ලබන හෙද නිලධාරීන්ටත් මාගේ උණුසුම් සුබපැතුම් එක් කළෙමි.

சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் வெகுஜன ஊடக அமைச்சின் கீழ் உள்ள தாதி கல்லூரிகளில் மூன்று வருட உயர் டிப்ளோமா பாடநெறியைப் பூர்த்தி செய்த 2020 மாணவர் தாதியர் குழாத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 2,819 பயிலுனர்களை 3ஆம் தர தாதிய உத்தியோகத்தர்களாக இணைத்துக் கொள்வதற்கான நியமனக் கடிதங்களை வழங்கும் நிகழ்வில் இன்று (01) காலை அலரி மாளிகையில் கலந்துகொண்டேன்.

அத்துடன், வைத்தியசாலை சேவையில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள 1ஆம் தர தாதிய உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் 76 பேரை விசேட தர தாதி உத்தியோகத்தர்களாக பதவி உயர்வு வழங்குவதற்கான நியமனக் கடிதங்களை வழங்கும் நிகழ்வும் இதன்போது இடம்பெற்றது.

நாளுக்கு நாள் விரிவடைந்து வரும் சுகாதார சேவைகளின் தேவைகளைக் கருத்திற்கொண்டு, மக்களுக்கு தரமான சுகாதார சேவையை வழங்குவதற்குத் தேவையான மனிதவளப் பூர்த்தி செய்வதற்கும், தாதிய சேவையில் காணப்படும் வெற்றிடங்களின் எண்ணிக்கையைக் குறைப்பதற்கும் இந்த புதிய நியமனங்களை வழங்க முடிந்தமை ஒரு சிறப்பான சந்தர்ப்பமாகக் கருதுகிறேன்.

நாட்டின் இலவச சுகாதார சேவையை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தி, மக்களுக்கு உகந்த சேவையை வழங்குவதற்காக இலங்கை தாதிய சேவையுடன் இணையும் புதிய தாதி உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் அனைவருக்கும், பதவி உயர்வு பெறும் தாதி உத்தியோகத்தர்களுக்கும் எனது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்தேன்.

I attended the presentation of appointment letters at Temple Trees this morning (01) to 2,819 trainee nurses from the 2020 student nursing batch, who completed the three-year Higher Diploma course at nursing schools under the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, for recruitment as Grade III Nursing Officers.

Appointment letters were also presented on this occasion to 76 Grade I Nursing Officers serving in hospitals, following their promotion to the Special Grade of the Nursing Service.

I consider these new appointments a significant step towards meeting the human resource requirements of the country’s expanding healthcare services, ensuring the provision of quality healthcare to the public and reducing the number of vacancies in the nursing service.

I extended my warm congratulations to all the newly appointed Nursing Officers joining the Sri Lanka Nursing Service, as well as to those who received promotions, and wished them success in further strengthening the country’s free healthcare system and delivering an excellent service to the people.
