📌 THE BEST SUPPLICATION to be made on the DAY of ‘ARAFAH!

🔰The Messenger of Allaah (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace) said:

“ The best supplication is the one made on the Day of ‘Arafah. The best thing ever said by me and the previous prophets is:

(( لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير ))

There is no deity worthy of worship other than Allaah, who is alone, having no partner. His is the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise. He is, of everything, All-Capable.”

On the authority of ‘Aisha رضي الله عنها who said that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "There is no day in which Allāh sets free more slaves from the Hell-Fire than [He does] on the Day of ‘Arafah."

The last 10 nights of Ramadan are the most blessed, and there is no better way to spend them than in the company of the Qur’an. Join us for a special Qur’an Halaqah, where we will recite Juz 30 together with Tajweed, following the Sunnah of Jibreel (عليه السلام), who would review the Qur’an with the Prophet (ﷺ) in Ramadan.

VIRTUES OF RECITING THE QUR’AN TOGETHER
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
1. "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a good deed, and a good deed is multiplied by ten." (Tirmidhi 2910)

2. "Whenever people gather in one of the houses of Allah to recite the Qur’an and study it together, tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him." (Muslim 2699)

Ramadan Reminder for the Kitchen 🍲

Dear sisters, when you are cooking for ifṭār, remember that you are preparing food for fasting people in your home. Every stir of the spoon, every dish you prepare can become an act of worship when done for the sake of Allah.

Recite Qur’an or listen to it while cooking, and renew your intention that you are serving those who are fasting.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”

— (Tirmidhi)

So your kitchen can also be a place of ‘ibaadah and reward in Ramadan.

If you find your heart drawn to the Book of Allah, your soul longing to recite it, reflect upon it, and live by it, then know that this is not by your own merit alone—it is a tremendous favor from your Lord.``

*As Allah says:*
> «"Then as for those who are guided, He increases them in guidance and grants them their righteousness."»
_Qur'an 47:17_

So be grateful to Allah for this blessing, guard it with sincerity and consistency, and continually ask Him to keep your heart firm upon His Book.

> اللهم اجعل القرآن ربيع قلوبنا ونور صدورنا، وارزقنا تلاوته آناء الليل وأطراف النهار على الوجه الذي يرضيك عنا.
