"...The threat that emerged from Gaza on October 7 will NOT be allowed to rebuild!"

"Under this agreement, Gaza will finally be in the hands of a new Palestinian government that serves its PEOPLE."

"CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ON THIS AMAZING DEVELOPMENT, THAT EVERYBODY SAID COULD NEVER BE ACHIEVED!"

I am not going to comment for now. Let's see what happens.

Fla. AG says his office is opening an investigation into Fauci after Senate hearing

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has announced that his office is opening an investigation into Anthony Fauci, the former White House chief medical adviser, following a fiery Senate hearing.

Emphasizing Fauci's unwillingness to answer lawmaker' questions on Wednesday, Uthmeier revealed the move in a social media post.

"Fauci's lack of candor to Congress is unbelievable," Uthmeier said on Wednesday. "My office is launching an investigation into Dr. Fauci. It's past time we get the truth of what happened during COVID."

He'll be in prison in no time, goy, trust us. Here, have a lollipop.

Russia accuses Telegram CEO Pavel Durov of aiding terrorism in its latest digital crackdown

Russian authorities said Wednesday they had charged Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of the popular messaging app Telegram, with aiding terrorism, the latest step by the Kremlin to bring the internet and digital communications under its control...

...The Federal Security Service, or FSB, said in a statement it had accused Telegram's administration of failing to remove "numerous channels, chats and bots" allegedly used by "Ukrainian intelligence agencies, terrorist and extremist organizations to prepare and coordinate acts of sabotage and terrorism, mass murder, and cyber fraud" in Russia, which resulted in "numerous human casualties."

To the last Ukrainian: Why the EU doesn't want Kiev's draft dodgers

...Statehood Day in Kiev. Very important. Very historical. "So how can I make it all about me?" the EU said. Here comes Brussels to put the "hood" in "statehood" day, and bring some muscle to Kiev's mobilization hustle.

What a great opportunity for the EU to come back into town for another photo op, another summit, and another round of butt- and back-slapping.

"Queen" Ursula von der Leyen set the tone: "It's a special moment. Ukraine has built a strong military momentum. The tide is turning. I will announce new initiatives to integrate our defense industries. So we can produce more, and faster. We will also discuss accession and preparations for this winter."

Merz readies secret plan to move German troops to Russian border

The chancellor reportedly wants to gazump new governments in the east of the country, where the opposition AfD is leading the polls.

The German government is developing a "secret plan" to prevent regional authorities from potentially obstructing the deployment of NATO troops to the Russian border, according to a joint investigation by The Telegraph and Die Welt.

The "contingency" measures are reportedly driven by fears that the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party could secure enough support in upcoming regional elections in two eastern states to form local governments.

Known for criticizing Berlin's anti Russia policies as harmful to Germany's national interests, the right wing party has grown to become the country's most popular political force after once again being excluded from last year's federal coalition talks...

India should have a polar ambassador - parliamentary panel

Creating the role will help India pursue "polar diplomacy" more effectively and work for full member status of the Arctic Council.

India should consider appointing a "polar ambassador" to pursue "polar diplomacy" more effectively, a parliamentary panel has recommended.

"Creating such a position will not only help India project the importance given to these regions in its foreign policy architecture but will also help put across its policy stance in relation to polar areas/pursue polar diplomacy in a more effective manner," lawmakers on the committee said.

A parliamentary panel in India is a small group of MPs that weighs in on bills and budgets, and the work of various ministries...

Hamas accepts Trump's Gaza disarmament plan in principle

The group is ready to fully disarm contingent on Israel's withdrawal from the Palestinian enclave, media reports citing a senior Hamas official claim.

"...These negotiations were difficult and hard, and we tried to reach the best possible formula that was achievable," Hamad, whose remarks were also carried by Reuters and the BBC, was cited as saying. He stressed, however, that Israel must approve the phased disarmament, adding that Hamas will not implement any part of the agreement unless Israeli forces fulfilled their obligations, particularly withdrawing from Gaza and advancing reconstruction in the Palestinian territory...

US crude stockpiles drop to "precariously low" levels amid Hormuz closure

US crude stockpiles fell to dangerously low levels last week as local oil refineries ramped up activity to profit from surging fuel prices resulting from the US war on Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the Financial Times (FT) reported on 30 July.

Commercial crude oil inventories decreased by 7.2 million barrels, while the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) was reduced by 3.8 million barrels.

Rory Johnston, oil market analyst and founder of Commodity Context, said crude and petrol stocks were at "precariously low" levels.

"US crude inventories, both commercial and the SPR, have drawn down by nearly 20 percent since early April. The US accounts for about 70 percent of global onshore crude inventory draws over the past four months," said Matt Smith, an analyst at Kpler...

So we are back to this?

First of all, "rare earths" are not particularly rare or valuable. It is the process of refining these materials where all of the value is added, and you simply can't beat China on price for that. Still, it's funny to listen to Trump brag about his "in theory" deal where they can loot Ukraine at will...

Netanyahu accuses NYC Mayor Mamdani of backing Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah

The official previously pushed for the arrest of the Israeli prime minister for Gaza "war crimes."

The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu in 2024 over Israel's military campaign in Gaza. Mamdani has said his administration would seek to enforce the warrant if presented with an opportunity to do so.

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity this week, Netanyahu accused the mayor of siding with Iran, which he described as a mortal enemy of both Israel and the United States.

"The army of Israel, the young men and women of Israel, the public in Israelโ€ฆ stand up and say, "Yes, we're willing to stand up at this moment and stand in the breach with the United States.' This is the ally that Mamdani and his ilk are vilifying," Netanyahu said...

Understanding Section 219

...This is Section 219, a provision intended to consolidate and expand the defense relationship between the United States and Israel. More specifically, it mandates the creation of a single executive agent tasked with "synchronizing cooperative efforts between the United States and Israel to expand and accelerate bilateral defense technology research, development, testing, evaluation, integration, and industrial cooperation." These efforts will cover broad areas, including the integration of Israeli technologies into US weapon systems and supply chains, cooperative research, development, and acquisition programs, licensing agreements and manufacturing partnerships with Israeli arms companies, and joint exercises and information sharing with the Israeli government...

Iran War day 152: Trump vows to give Iran "beating" after Iran targets US positions in Jordan

A short pause in hostilities seems to be at an end, with Iran, the US, and Saudi Arabia all conducting strikes as the Iran War entered its 152nd day on Wednesday.

Iran's IRGC launched missile attacks on US positions in Jordan, framing the move as a response to "threats of the US authorities and illegal interventions against [Iran's] interests." The Jordanian military said it shot down five Iranian missiles, and no casualties or damage have been reported.

In an interview with Fox News, President Donald Trump on Wednesday vowed to give Iran "a beating," telling hosts "we're going to beat the fucking shit out of them" in retaliation for what he called Iran's "surprise attack" in Jordan...

Wasn't Iran about to capitulate? Oh, sorry, UNCONDITIONALLY SURRENDER? Wasn't that like 3 months ago, too? Weird. Probably 5D chess. Yeah, that must be it.

Party elites so blind they can't see their base turning against the war

Numerous polls can't all be wrong. At some point there will be a reckoning with the out of touch Republican establishment in Washington. Last week, only four House Republicans voted with 210 Democrats to pass a war powers resolution to end the US war with Iran.

That means 208 House Republicans voted to continue the war. Hours later, the Republican led Senate killed the measure, with only one GOP senator voting with the Democrats to end the war, de facto joining four other Republicans who were either absent or missed the vote.

The overwhelming majority of congressional Republicans are still clearly committed to President Donald Trump's war. Republican voters? Not so much...

Trump's favorite drug trafficker returns triumphantly to Honduras

Juan Orlando Hernandez came home with a skip in his step after receiving a pardon despite moving 400 tons of cocaine.

...Juan Orlando Hernรกndez (JOH, as he is known) is not just a documented drug trafficker. His criminal history is far broader. He supported the 2009 coup while a member of Congress; while President of Congress, he led the 2012 "Technical Coup" that ousted the majority of the Supreme Court. He and his party stole as much as $300 million from the national health service, bankrupting it, in order to pay for his first election as president in 2013. Four years later, he ran for reelection in violation of the constitution, stole the election when he lost, then turned the police and military on peaceful protesters and bystanders, killing at least 20 of them...

...But shockingly, on December 1, 2025, two days before the next Honduran elections, President Trump pardoned Hernรกndez, reportedly at the behest of Trump's longtime friend Roger Stone. Trump made clear that he was doing so in part to sway the elections toward Nasry Asfura, the far right candidate of Hernรกndez's discredited National Party. Claiming that authorities were trying to steal the elections, Trump threatened there would be "hell to pay" if Asfura didn't win. Terrified that Trump would cut off the remittances that make up as much as a third of the country's economy, thousands of Hondurans reportedly switched their votes to Asfura...

Ukraine's "turned tide" doesn't comport "with basic military reality"

...In May, TIME hailed Ukraine's drone industry as giving Kyiv "the cards to win without US help." Last month, CNN lauded Ukrainian drone strikes near Moscow as "a likely turning point" in the war. Earlier this month, Defense One even framed the conflict as a settled matter with the headline "How Ukraine won the first great robot war."

But this isn't the first time the press has played up Ukraine's military capabilities, despite repeated setbacks on the battlefield. As experts warn RS, such coverage reinforces the idea that more military aid can still help Ukraine win back all of its territory, thus downplaying the need for a negotiated solution...

...As Daniel Davis, a military expert at Defense Priorities, tells RS, "western media narratives claiming Ukraine has "turned the tide" do not survive contact with basic military reality..."

We're still doing this, wow...
